I like Tae Yi's lisp. I don't know if the song in ep 8 is sang by the actor, but his lisp is stronger in English (I barely understood any words) but it's cute nonetheless.
I started this with low expectations (from reading the comments) and found the initial direction silly and basic, but as the episodes went by I begun to adore it! Yes, the plot is nothing special, but their relationship is so wholesome. None of the side characters are unlikeable, and actually help solve miscommunication problems. I'm biased to the character of Soga - he and the actor playing him, sooo adorable! The show could've given more insights into Sakae's personality tho (some actions regarding scenes with his ex were questionable). Otherwise, an easy watch that made me smile. I don't usually rate unmemorable shows high, but impulsively giving this a solid 8/10.
Idk, I'm kinda happy it went more office drama direction than relationship drama. I like the fact that Hirokuni is not getting personal life problems as well as work ones ๐ Isn't it supposed to be - slowburn progression of Hirokuni's feelings through receiving small gestures of affection (Kai making dinner for him, sending messages, waiting for him, words of encouragement, etc). Some comments down there saying, "well realistically after that handjob, they'd be banging everyday"..... in which real world? Real world of yaoi manga? Have we forgotten Hirokuni thought he's straight his entire life? I think Kai made a mistake and is being a patient gentleman. I really enjoyed ep.5 - Hirokuni realized that his senpai was right, and he saw himself in his junior, whilst standing up for him. Can't wait to see him finally stand up for himself. I like this concept, the pace, and the actors are not bad - could become a comfort show depending on how ep 6 goes :)

The 1st few episodes were adorable, and I liked that Sahara waited for Toki to graduate. I adore delinquent protagonist being more studious and friendly to impress his crush - this show had so much potential. But then - it suddenly introduced side couple that felt incestuous even though they weren't related, and Nekoto drama with its 100 flashbacks of the same scene. It became boring and I binged the last 4 episodes on 1.5 speed. Disappointing.
I've never seen so much inconsistency as the length of Off's hair hahaha. I'm here for OffGun and their amazing chemistry as always, but Aungpao's acting surprises me - he's quite promising (and adorable)! Looking forward to ep 8.
it's not a remake of the japanese version. it's an adaptation of the original japanese manga. so this one is an…
Yes I know of the manga, but since Japan did it first I called this one a remake. Thailand loves remaking shows in general. But technically you're right, it's all stemming from the manga.
So adorable! I didn't read the manga so at first glance I thought - "Oh no, not another age gap adult/minor teacher/student, Japanwhyareyoulikethis" but reading the comments I gave it a chance and it's so pure! I really hope it stays wholesome and pure. I love the protagonist to pieces and it's only been 2 episodes. Can't wait for more!
I went and rewatched the 1st ep of Japanese Cherry Magic and think this first ep is redone pretty well! I still love how the og is paced (everything fits perfectly in 24 minutes) and the humour is just my type (soundtrack as well), but will give this remake a chance 'cause I feel the leads have big potential and the production looks nice.
Hi, it's me again, rewatching this since its' release ๐๐ป๐ I love nuanced and flawed characters so much. Plus, Hira - highkey a representation of neurodivergency ๐๐ป๐ This show has been my hyperfixation and now we got season 2 and the movie for more art inspo ๐
I want to watch but I am not brave enough. I have a young cousin who is gay. When he was sixteen he came out to…
I wish I had a relative like you. Yes, you don't have to force yourself to watch something you're not ready for. I can relate a little bit because I was kicked out of the house in March, but thankfully my parents haven't cut me out of their life. It's just easier for them to live separately from me so they don't have to see me. I live off of savings and part time jobs at the moment, but I'm not doing bad. I hope that your cousin is happy and found a family of his own somewhere. He must have. There are good people out there.
