If my partner ever said "I'll let you meet your other friends if you let me have my way that night" I'd run for…
I'm ready to be attacked by the fans for stating my opinions. No hate towards the show, I enjoy toxic relationships in media. But the writing is quite weak and the pacing a bit boring. Cinematography is nice, but the soundtrack not memorable. Didn't make me root for them, and are the intimate scenes supposed to make up for the fact that they're both pocker-faced and monotone the entire show? Mmkay.

If my partner ever said "I'll let you meet your other friends if you let me have my way that night" I'd run for the hills. But looking at the comments, I guess that's just me. I really hoped episode 8 would redeem Segasaki and give Yoh some guts, but the first 7 episodes were stretched and 8th was rushed. It would have been so much better with good pacing. Like, Yoh had all the rights to assume he was worthless and had to be a shut-in housemaid to earn his accommodations with his unrequited crush. Segasaki thinking Yoh's dense whilst keeping his mouth shut about his feelings and being mean the entire time.... is quite delusional hahaha

If you mean to stop comparing it to MBM because MBM is vastly superior, then I agree. In fact, I just compared…
Exactly. I also love how the whole community understood that Hira is neurodivergent (that's how well the show depicted it without having to spell it out). As someone who also has trouble reading social cues, I could understand the thought process of the character. I am kinda baffled on how people in the comments glorify Taikan Yoho dynamic and find it healthier than MBM?? Like, the cinematography is good and the actors are handsome, but that's pretty much it for me.

But then, only 1 episode. 🤣🤭
Thank you. I too got spoiled by dramas like MBM to be able to sit through a series like this one and not get frustrated every episode hahahah

I completely agree! In MBM, the show clearly showed that their dynamic started off toxic, and throughout the sequels they attempt to fix it, and we do see character development and insight into their personalities. In season 2, Hira is even called out by the photographer on his flaws.... whilst in this series, the over-posessiveness and stalking to the point of sneaking a tracking device on your partner is not only normalised, but romanticized. I just don't understand how in this day and age people find these sort of character traits lovable. I'd rather get worshipped by a Hira-type from afar than be in a relationship with an emotionally constipated man with abandonment issues lol.
On Love Class Season 2 Sep 14, 2023
Such a huge improvement from season 1 (the plot and characters to which I already forgot). The 2 side couples were great, but the main weren't boring or anything. In my opinion, episode 9 would have been a satisfying enough ending, but speeding through 10th was alright. A wholesome and enjoyable binge (after you finally understand what is going on - the first 2 episodes were so tightly packed and you got to pay attention to who is who and what is happening lmao).

Loved the ending, and everything is explanatory if you look at each characters feelings towards each other. As to how they'll go about continuing their triangle relationship made up of different types of love, is an open ending. Having one sided love on a friend is tricky - sometimes you succeed to get over them and stay friends, and sometimes you have to painfully part ways. We don't get to see the outcome here. That's it.

You know a drama didn't leave any impression on you when you see it in your "completed" list and have no memory of what it was about. Even reading the summery/reviews barely reminded me of the basic plot. Was 6.5 for some reason, changed it to 5.5
On Dangerous Drugs of Sex Aug 31, 2023
I mean, I enjoyed Killing Stalking for the eff'd up plot, gore, trauma and suspence. I enjoyed this for all the same reasons. No romanticizing it, realizing that it's Stalkholm syndrome from one side and replacing your dead lover with a look-alike from the other side. Being uncomfortable with the beginning of the SA journey but then settling in for the ride cause you decided to finish watching it? Same, and I think that's normal (I first kept telling my mind to pretend I'm just watching consentual bdsm roleplay lmao). I wouldn't mind if either (or both of them) died at the end, would just spice up the journey for me. I'd rate it higher, but I have some dignity remaining - so 7/10.

You just have to turn your brain off and have fun with this show. I can tell that the director and producer didn't…
Great advice! That's what I'm starting to do by episode 3 😂

.... what? what am I watching.... there is no logical plotline or reasoning, and it feels like the main actors are winging it and the producer just uses the 1st take for each interaction 😂 I don't remember anybody from elementary school, and I for sure wouldn't be able to recognize anyone from back then.... forget getting handsy after 20 or so years of not being in contact 😭 I guess I'll keep watching just to pass some time and keep being amused.

I couldn't believe episode 8, how Nozomi could change in zero time, and go from crying on the street with everything…
I'd love to believe your theory that it was all in her head and she was in an institution being delusional. If you still remember this series after reading the book, I hope you can come back here and speak your thoughts about it? Just wishful thinking tho :)

The show was really good in the first half, but then all the unlikable characters (all of them) became even more unlikable, along with the protag. I really wanted to love this series because of my mommy issues and the first couple of episodes making me emotional, but post episode 7 I couldn't take it seriously nor justify anybody's actions anymore. Still binged the whole thing in one day, so there's that. Giving it a lenient 6/10 just for the first half.

Some of you have never been in love and it shows. You can have a list of what you want, what age you prefer, what…
That's what I didn't understand in these comments. If I remember correctly, Yechan is 20 and Yul is 26.... If a 6 year gap is illegal, I (aged 26) should have been in jail for going on dates with a 20 year old in the beginning of this year 😂

I have no idea why there's so many negative comments? This was so fluffy and wholesome (medicine for the heart). Also, I haven't seen this trope before so I found it fresh. Love the webtoon and think the cast was perfect (Yechan carried the whole show). The only thing I thought was rushed is that Yul's family problems seem to have disappeared too quickly after he resumed music (of course they had to wrap the series up quickly) - so if there is season 2, I'd love to see a little angst, and then a lot more cuteness again :)
