4 eps in and its really not sticking. there isnt really any plot and idk where this drama is going. perhaps there is a plot but the journey to get there seems boring. the staggering 16 eps seem daunting at this point. and who keeps giving Kim Hyun Jin these roles cos man cant act and his diction is a mess.

Now that I’ve read some novel readers comments I’m kinda confused why ziyu is still painted as some innocent character in the drama. For all this rebellion stuff to happen wouldn’t it make sense for ziyu to be the mastermind??? He’s the one with connections to most characters involved in this iron ore/ rebellion drama.

i know the rebellion is needed to drive the plat but i practically do not care. i just wanna see the main couple talking in riddles and looking sorrowful and tense. pleaseeeee they were barely on screen in ep 22

i kept seeing tiktok reviews calling this drama cringe. boring perhaps but whats so cringe about this drama? the couple has quite a natural relationship progression. they were intentionally written as a somewhat awkward couple but i dont think they were cringe. overall it had a decent message too about self confidence. Are people calling it cringe just because the leads are both known for subpar acting? When this drama aired I rmb Cha Eun woo getting praises because it’s one of his first few roles and people didn’t know he was a bad actor yet.

i rmb he didnt get any flak for his role here when it aired. his role didnt call for much acting chops cos hos character is expressionless most of the time

yeah they had like maybe three interactions in total before the EVENT. and its not like we saw them spending their daily lives together or anything. i feel like if they framed it as the FL finding the ML out of a sense of duty rather than affection it wouldve made a bit more sense
