All those are separate specialities, IIRC, but this is drama, they can stretch make-belief as much as the public…
Yes they are all different specialties so it’s kinda funny he’s doing everything . I feel the charm of the show is that he’s so good u won’t accept it as real but o well it’s entertaining so whatever
I’ve watched 3 eps and it’s quite entertaining so far. It’s kind of a comedy drama too. Most of the action is on the medical cases. There’s some hospital politics but they kind of just portray it as a joke.
Bro did thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, an organ transplant all in 3 eps. Can an actual trauma surgeon actually do all of these things???? Is it humanly possible??? I mean bro also flew a helicopter so it’s obviously fiction but still I kinda wanna know if real trauma surgeons can actually do all of these things lol
hi can someone help jog my memory a bit as to who is chen jia cz i for one couldnt remember anything abt him until…
hes the embroidered guard. Used to be “enemies” with both ml and fl cos he was part of the group that attacked them in the cave. In this timeline, he was part of the group that was transporting ml’s uncle on the ship where he got killed. Chen then swore allegiance to ml as he wanted to get revenge for his foster father who got killed in the same attack
I found the first ten ep really entertaining even with minimal romance. For the most part it was fun until the couple got married. The second half is a lot more politics heavy but woe is me because I didn’t pay attention to the politics so tbh idk what was going on with the court schemes half the time so I got bored.
it’s was just ok. Has a similar concept to Netflix’s lucifer but without the daddy issues. Most of the criminals were rage bait and frankly the trials were mostly revenge justice that will never be seen in real life. I guess that’s the main appeal of the drama. But honestly I didn’t get why she couldn’t just give the criminals a heavy legal sentence AND kill them off? Like she can just jail break them and destroy evidence anyway??
The romance was not convincing I kinda wish there wasn’t any in this drama. Honestly even the romance in lucifer (which is btw an AMERICAN tv show!!!) was far better and more convincing. didn’t like how it progressed and to me it wasn’t believable enough to convince me that an arrogant demon like her would want to be a lowly human just for her human bf. I feel they could’ve just left it as her developing some humanity and compassion for humans instead of love for some human man.
Lee Jong won is honestly so cute here wth 😭😭😭 minju is quite literally the ideal man. He’s considerate, kind, extremely perceptive, empathetic (duh), sweet, flirty, quiet, cute, handsome, tall, passionate about his job, and rich???? Bro????? I’m at ep 5 and quite frankly I find the drama extremely boring but minju is truly a dream
I was watching the last ep and was wondering if everyone was high cos I didn’t see anything about paltima and Ismael even though I had like 5 min left and the Argan arch was already over. And then it happened. It was ONE line. They could’ve just not have added this all together. It could’ve been edited out easily. It’s a very questionable choice to say the least.
Started off as a fast paced thriller romance and then fizzled into a snooze fest makjang mess. For the most part the makjang was still tolerable despite the boring romance after the couple got together. Pacing and vibe is very nostalgic and reminds me of the times when kdrama was still addictive.
however the last ep ruined the flow completely cos the argan plot just made absolutely no sense whatsoever. (Also please leave the middle eastern sound effect and desert filter thing to just Hollywood please??? Why do I have to see this stereotypical yellow hue in a kdrama??). Their reunion is also reminiscent of the reunion of the leads in DOTS. Let’s leave this type of nonsense in 2016. It’s been almost 10 years. think they could’ve tied up the loose ends and make the male lead “repent” in a different way. Like… was he not also a victim??? Why is he even repenting?
As for the Paltima and Ismael thing - country name choice is so fking questionable. Why even bother adding this one line? Even without this one line the finale ep is already a mess.
o m g there is a controversy. the plot did go a bit off the rails at times but i wasnt expecting an actual controversy. thought it was just a really bad finale or somethjng
This dramas plot is very fresh and strong but I need to say the biggest weakness of this drama is the romance.…
They had lots of chemistry and heat between them before they resolved their misunderstanding honestly. But now when I see them together it just feels a bit flat because the romance progressed too suddenly for my taste as well
Some comment I saw said it best "Gi Hun's vengefulness wasnt earned". Honestly, I enjoyed this season overall,…
I mean bro survived cos of luck not like he had much grit or intelligence in the first season either. Honestly I don’t really get the revenge mastermind route the show is trying to carve for him.
The last episode......Whyyy didn't he just be like to the 'O' ppl "Hey, so I've won and I have 46 billion so if…
Yeah I agree the coup was impossible from the start and gihun is a fking dumbass. There were just too many unknowns for it to ever have been successful. That thought process was also just simply absurd.
i haven't seen a more underutilized cast. and unlike S1, i had zero emotional attachment to any characters or…
i kinda agree that they shouldve used newer actors. i get that squid game has an international audience, so to most, these a-list actors are new to them. and obviously using these acclaimed actors they are guaranteed to deliver in Their roles BUT im so familiar with them that i knew they werent gonna die so fast so that killed some of the tension and stakes for me. Also the side characters were really under utilised while the main character who had the most screen time was just so insufferable.
I was excited about the sniper lady plot since for once we see who these game crews are, but again, nothing much about them was shown in the season
