All she remembers of him was that he was scarred. She even met him before she escaped, but didn't recognize him. I guess his burn scars were healed by then.

He's powerless but ambitious in the novel. But not savvy enough to keep or gather more power in court.
In the drama, his reactions while his 2 ministers are funny and sad at the same time.

She did say being a butcher is a good business. That's why she's confident she can support a matrilocal husband. 🙂
