When he was gathering info from the neighbors, he was also interested when gossipy Kang said they havent consummated it. And when he saw the divorce certificate (?) he was smiling a bit. So definitely interested.

Xz would ask his teacher to adopt fcy so she can have a good background, and that's when fcy's full name was mentioned. They stared at each other for a bit remembering how fcy described xz and how she described xz to old tao.
One more thing to anticipate is when uncle zhao meets old tao. Old tao was a bit grumpy when fcy prioritizes uncle zhao. But they eventually became friendly. 😁
