Title The Road to Splendor
TY was entered in the county records as a reward for three things that she had done for the region and the nation…
Most probably because his mother wants him to. Lol

Do you think Bixia is sincere about Zhao or he is using him as much as he can until he can't use him anymore?
I think he likes him but he's still going to use him. He's still an emperor.
I would want to beleive that if he had to turn on ZL, it would be for dire reasons.

Yeah they cut lots of those sweet moments to add Yu family drama 😑
The Wang girls in the novel with A Sen were ado. 😁

I do hope they patch up A Sen and ZL soon, some of the best parts of the books were all the family time!
Yes i hope this would be addressed and resolved soon.

Would be good to add the spolier tag when discussing key story elements :) But the reason FTY brought up the confession…
I actually liked that scene, between fty and madam yu. Madam yu caught it immediately. '4 letters?' ha. Yes. You're effing son was the mastermind.

I don't understand what's FTY role now ever since they entered their capital arc, cause she's just attending banquet…
It was already explained in the beginning. A lot happens in banquets and other gatherings. There are some things that the men cannot outright say to each other for whatever reason. So they ask their wives to make sure to send a message or share or exchange information. Clues can also be obtained during the ladies gathering (like Yake inadvertently spilling they have the CP living with them)
They have started doing it since they helped the CP with the case.

With Fan Yake, he feels like he has been tricked because he caught her selling her father's treasured scripts…
Maybe he just assumed? Especially since her father is a teacher and those books were part of the dowry. I dont know if she said something during their meeting in the yake's father's study to would imply she treasures those books too

Someone on rednotes was speculating if there was some significant reason ZL held the tea cup and lid that way…
It did seem an unusual way of holding it and the camera focused on it too.
It would be interesting if it really meant something

True! Fan Yake's plan backfired on her. She really thinks she can manipulate anyone with her words.
She was so transparent it was so laughable

I was wondering why such a brilliant mind like Madam Yu could birth such a shameless son who would not survive…
Was he talking to himself? He was playing go,so like playing against himself?

What is wrong with Miss Wu? Will she replace Miss Tan role in novel? Or still become Yu's concubine..
They may have combined those 2 characters.
She would try to marry ZL, fail. Then get married into Yu family instead.
Eta. Just what i think might happen

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
There is a funeral scene (possibly of TY’s mom), a scene of TY being arrested, ZL in beard (is there another…
So the person who was in mourning clothes was fty. Most probably her mother 😭 i saw a bts of zl seemingly saving his mil and threatening his fil with a sword. Though i dont have it bookmarked.
I was hoping she would live through in the drama.

I wonder if the older lady fty was guiding is the empress dowager
