But did they really need to do it asap? They couldve delayed the revenge. Instead of being used by the Yus, they could just waited until the Yus have to make another move against Fu that wouldnt involve them.

He did. I wondered why lord yu would be revealing that mother was murdered.
But that night, fu said the lord yu betrayed him.
So, Yu revealing the murder plot and implying that his other loved ones can also be murdered, made ZL feel impatient and that he's honor bound to kill Fu and not accept any evidence from him.
The Yus are really good villains. Theyre quite good in manipulating others to do their dirty deeds, even thir enemies.

I would have to agree with the sussy tian SIL.
I've thought the same with Yake, that she might turn traitor again. but, is she willing to give up her position as the Yu DIL? I can see them, yjx and yake fumbling up and giving our MC enough ammunition to bury their entire family. Also i hope there's no redemption arc for yjx and yake.

I also think the same. When she said that line, zl made a small smile.
But i also think, if she can draw that conclusion, she would know that her father is being used by the Yus. Her father is scummy and wouldn't kill his wife unless there's something in it for him.
I wish they would communicate more though. That's where they are behind compared to the Yu couple. But then, the Yu couple doesnt seem to care that much of each others feelings.

Even though she's the one who technically offended the emperor, the main target is still zl.
