Title Good Boy
The description of Kim Sohyun's role as Ji Hanna - “an Olympic gold medalist in shooting who received great love from the general public as a “shooting goddess” with her beautiful looks. However, due to an incident that shocks the world, she quits shooting and begins to walk the path of a police officer. Although she appears calm and collected, she is charmingly honest and straightforward when it comes to love and work.”

I'm already loving her cool character and I'm excited to see her do action scenes again! I'm so glad she'll work with a great writer and director, and I hope they'll show her full potential in this drama. My theory with the "incident" is, she must've accidentally shoot someone. Also, it seems like there will be romance? It's probably just slight since the plot is centered on their Olympic Avengers team. I wonder who the other casts will be.

Kim Sohyun's character as the "shooting goddess" is cool! She's a shooter who's gonna be their ace when it comes to gun fights. I would love to see her again doing action scenes.

And her long awaited pairing with Park Bogum since 2015 is finally coming! While working with a great writer and director. I have high expectations for this drama and I hope it will be good.

Still no updates about "Is It Fate?". They really wasted the opportunity to release this drama on February for Valentine's Day. That would be the perfect timing and marketing. But we'll just wait and see...

On See You Tomorrow, Everyone Jan 13, 2024
I watched "Minasan, Sayonara" back in 2020, when I was 17 years old. I sadly could relate to it. And now that I'm 20 years old, I remember this movie and it feels even more relatable now. How you're always staying at the same place while your classmates, friends, family - everyone are moving away to different and far places. You're being left behind but you can't even take a step out of the line. I know I could do something, but I don't have the courage and it eventually turned to a comfort zone. I always think about how my life would be different if I only took care of myself during childhood or if the covid pandemic didn't happen. But nonetheless, it is what it is. I can't go back in time. This movie resonated with me, yet it also feels contradicting. I hope I don't stay like that for long. You can change anytime and the world is boundless.

his shyness made her do to strange things (?)
I haven't watch it but I also commented about that on its page and I think it would be creepier since it's a man doing it. But both are problematic regardless of the gender.

There's been many Korean movies about Japanese occupation and a few kdramas. I'm glad this drama brought attention and knowledge to more people about how evil the Japanese are with their war crimes, especially regarding Unit 731. Japan literally terrorized Asia and it also included westerners. It made me sad when I saw my fellow country people be so ignorant about the history but I hope they learn more. History should never be forgotten and should always be addressed, especially when the colonizer is denying it and brainwashing their people until the present day. Can't believe there are still people who are defending and glorifying Japan (not just Japanese but even foreigners who wants to be edgy YIKES).

No, it's about the female lead being a stalker. She's been secretly taking photos of him without his consent and when the time stop happened, she touched and moved his body. She even laid down with him and tried to kiss him, while he wasn't aware of everything that's happening. It's so wrong tbh.

Same with the long hair chop :(As a long hair girly, I wish she kept it.. Since when is long hair not chic or…
It's not about that. She said she "wanted to be a different person" that's why she cut her hair to short. She's been having long hair since high school, so she wanted a new change for herself. In general, when women cut their hair, it means a new beginning. (It's an important symbol in this drama since the female lead is letting go of her past and creating a new future.)

What's with anti glasses stance? What wrong with wearing glasses? Do you have to remove glasses to look beautiful…
Well it's obvious. It might be offensive to others, but honestly, glasses hides part of your face and can distort your eye size. Wearing glasses is still beautiful, but without glasses, the face is fully revealed and the beauty will shine more.

I watched the Japanese remake and I thought how creepier would it be if the characters' genders are switched, but the original had it. If a woman did it, people won't really take it seriously and she'll get away with it. But if it was a man, it would be immediate criminal and someone mentioned it on the comment below.

I really really didn't expect what the plot would be. This is the most unpredictable movie I've seen. At the beginning, I thought it was about a mad scientist which made me angry. But as the movie goes on to show the different point of views and perspectives of everyone, it just becomes more shocking with all their misunderstandings and lies and how they're dealing it on their own ways. It gave me such mixed emotions and I cried in each parts. What a powerful movie.

Honestly, it's the first time I was raising an eyebrow and laughing while watching a horror movie. It feels so goofy and I couldn't take it seriously.

I'm so shocked that the female lead is Lim Soojung?! I didn't know it was her at all while watching the movie. She usually looks young, but in here she looks mature (with the classy 70s style).

It's been 5 months and it's the longest casting news of Kim Sohyun. I'm glad she's resting for now, but I also can't wait for this drama. I hope they will give confirmation soon. The only info we got so far is that "Good Boy" is a JTBC drama and it seems like it's going to be pre-produced. I hope it won't take long to broadcast.

Edit: It's now finally confirmed! Kim Sohyun will play as the shooter. Her role is gonna be cool and I'm so excited!

Everytime the "friend" appears, I want to crumple her face so much. She's the dangerous type of friend who is extremely obsessive and manipulative. She either wants to have you by herself or wants to have what you have. She will do anything to ruin you and the other people who gets close to you, while disguising as a saint who's by your side and victimizing herself in front of other people. That's why friend group is important, because everyone have different minds and actions who can see things, compared with only two friends who gets easily trapped together without knowing the shadows in your back. It should be a sign with how clingy the friend is, she keeps relying on you and doesn't have other friends. It might be cute at first, but it gets worse when she gets mad when things doesn't follow her way and tries to guilt trips you. I know the female lead is using her for her revenge in the drama, but if this was real life, people should immediately cut ties and stay away with that crazy person.

Title Next Sohee Spoiler
This movie is so depressing and heavy with a quiet and cold atmosphere. It made me feel empty but tears also couldn't stop coming out from my eyes. Honestly, this movie made me scared of my future. It's a deep and thought provoking movie about a highschool graduate in her job training and the series of hardships she went through it while experiencing exploitation and overworking. I know call center agents have a very stressful job for dealing with complaints and angry costumers, but shouldn't there be a rule where if the agents are being harassed or threatened, they have the right to talk back, file a complaint to the higher ups and blacklist the costumers? It was so frustrating to see how they're being treated like emotionless robots by their costumers and higher ups. You could really feel how the female lead was overflowing with pressure while losing hope and how the light in her life is gradually dimming. It was even disgusting how all the management behind the program didn't take responsibility, they just blamed others and tried to victimize themselves. It was just a repeated cycle of inhumane jobs and the tragedy that takes toll on the workers. The ending might be open, but I believe Sohee was served with justice after her phone was recovered and I'm glad that there's a caring police who takes her job seriously to uncover the truth and save the victim despite all the obstacles on their way. Even though this movie shows the dark reality, it also provides a sense of hope. And I really hope this movie at least made an impact and bring a better change to the society. There's so much to learn and reflect from it.

Title Hero
I watched many Korean historical movies, but this is probably the first one with a bit of comedic tone to it, so it feels refreshing. It's also amazing how this is a musical movie. Compared to the typical musicals, they don't have dancing or fancy props, they focused solely on the emotions and message of the songs that reflects their hardships and dreams while aiming for their independence and freedom. The characters' unity, motivations and stories really left a deep impression. The ending was tragic yet powerful. It's based in real life, so knowing the information at the end was heartbreaking. I hope the hero's soul found peace.
