This is not even the worst, ppl just failed to understand the plot. But I agree that the series miserably failed…
Some people are not even talking about the plot, they're just too obsessed about the male lead to the point they're calling a high school romance drama worst than an evil genocidal war criminal in real life. It's literally insane how no one sees a problem with that.
You know there are some trademarks in almost any showbizz industry..! for example If a ML (take Song Kang) is…
You did not understand my comment at all. I'm talking about the people (crazy viewers of this drama) who hate on the actress because her character didn't chose the male lead and how this drama negatively affected her career. No one is even addressing this issue because you all only care about actor/male lead and shipping war.
I only guessing that at some point may be the fl is not that innocent.plus, how come she covered with blood after…
Yeah, I'm actually hoping that the FL could also have a "twisted" side.
For the blood, I think she probably tried to save him and take the knife off from him. But there's probably more that happened... (My other theory is, she could've tried to disposed his body.)
It's only 2 episodes so far, but this drama is making me think of some theories. I could be wrong, but just want to share it:
What if the SFL's original adaptive parents were different and they immediately cancelled the adoption after her accident, while the FL's adoptive parents only came days later and originally picked her without knowing the SFL.
What if the fire accident wasn't started by the FL and it was actually done by someone else. The people only speculated it's the FL because she carries a match box, but she left it outside. Having a huge fire disaster that affected inside the building looks intentional instead of just an accident.
The SFL is a psycho with severe victim complex, but it could be just misunderstandings and she tries hard to blame everything to the FL.
This comment needs to be in every MDL page! I 100% agree with everything you said! Iām always wondering, what…
Right. There's many good kdramas especially the serious ones. I understand if everyone has different tastes, but they should give these dramas a chance instead of always complaining. They just need to dig deeper and broaden their tastes.
Honestly, I find it annoying when every month, I see some kdrama fans saying there's no good kdramas and they're having a slump, while only focusing on romcoms with popular actors. But they don't even know about other kdramas that are thriller/crime or they just don't bother watching dramas with older/less popular actors. It's a shame that these kind of dramas are underrated while being tossed in the side. They deserve more attention among international viewers. But anyway, "The Auditors" is one of the best kdramas this year and I'm glad it also achieved high TV ratings.
Based from the poster, it looks like a basic romcom. But it's not just a romcom and this drama is more like a slice of life that deals about mental health issues. I didn't expect to cry and get touched with the emotional scenes š It's only 4 episodes so far but I'm already liking drama. I feel glad how the male lead became a bright person and having a new hope. But I'm also worried when he finds out about the "bad memory eraser". Anyway, I hope this drama will continue to be better.
PS. I hate love triangles between friends and siblings. I really hope this drama won't develop into that and they better give separate love interests to the brothers!
I really love antihero thrillers and how kdramas are adding twist to it. But the only thing I hate is how the police are protecting the criminals. I support vigilantes because they're the ones who actually give punishment to the criminals where they could taste their own medicines. They deserve to suffer.
The stadium scene really amazed me with how a large crowd of people turned into money hungry zombies (the extras probably had fun while filming it). While I really cried in the convenience store scene with how the granny failed and she was the one who got captured instead. I was rooting so much for her. I don't even feel bad to the police who got injured. They're just as disgusting for defending and even sacrificing their lives for a dirty criminal. I understand that it's their job, but it's still wrong how the criminal is treated like a boss while the police are acting like a slave for him.
What's actually outrageous in this drama is how the criminal have multiple plot armors. He got stabbed by knives, shot by arrows and bullets, and he even defeated a trained assassin while he was injured. How is that possible? I understand that his character is central to the plot, but it's too unbelievable! I hope they give the worse d*ath for him.
Overall, this is another great thriller kdrama that hooked me. The new character of Mr. Smile is interesting and I hope he meets the Masked Man. But it just sucks that this drama only have 8 episodes, it should be longer.
That girl is a psychopath who needs to be locked in the asylum! Her manipulative and aggressive nature is already obvious. I can't believe they tried to please her instead of ignoring her.
What's also frustrating is how the female lead is weak and she even claimed that she did it. I could understand if she was shocked and confused though. But I hope she has a twisted side and knows to fight against that girl.
PS. It suddenly made me think what if she has multiple personality disorder and she is that girl.
I've been waiting for this movie and I thought it's a natural disaster about fog. I didn't expect it would be about man-made disaster. It's intense and intriguing that involves politics. I had fun watching it, but the ending scene with the dog's expression made me tear up.
I hope they make a sequel about the dogs where a sibling found them and took care of them like their new family. I want to see them in a happy environment.
Just random thoughts... One of the saddest things in the world is how Korea is a divided nation. North Korea is still living in the past and making their people suffer. They can't even go out and they're trapped in a wide prison.
I imagine many plots in my mind and one of it is a political fantasy time travel drama where a time machine was created and an organization is using it. They travel in the past before the Japanese colonial era ended and their mission is to stop Korea's division after the war. It also includes capturing/k*lling the traitors who sold off their country/people. Sometimes, I wonder what would've happened if Korea wasn't divided and continued on as one nation. I hope they make a drama about it.
I am sorry but she did so many kameos and supporting roles from the time she was a teenager when I discovered…
I'm not just referring to you, but I'm talking generally about kdrama fans who knew Sohyun from Love Alarm and judging her acting skills based on her romcom dramas, including now in Serendipity's Embrace. Her roles are just simple in romcoms, but she has better dramas with better roles that also shows her better acting skills, especially in River Where The Moon Rises. Yet unlike with romcoms, these underrated dramas aren't that popular which makes people not know more of her skills/versatility as an actress.

Some people are complaining about Kim Sohyun and they only watched some of her dramas. In general, kdrama fans, especially the new ones, are judging her with Love Alarm and her recent romcoms which are her most popular/trendy dramas. Honestly, I wouldn't pick these dramas as her "representative".
There's nothing wrong with romcoms or fun/simple roles, it's supposed to be just enjoyable. But if you want to watch her in other genres with serious roles that will amazed you with her acting skills, then I suggest you to watch her underrated dramas: River Where The Moon Rises (Warrior Princess/Assassin), Page Turner (Blind Pianist), Reset (Troublemaker Delinquent), The Suspicious Housekeeper (Rebellious Eldest Daughter), Missing You (Bullied Innocent Student), We All Cry Differently (Ambitious Smart Student).
RWTMR is her recent drama as an adult actress where she showed her best acting skills. But it's disappointing that many people don't know this drama and they only focus on her romcom dramas. Aside from RWTMR, I do agree that most of Sohyun's roles as an adult are not that impressive compared when she was a child actress. Her roles feels more like a love interest and I've been hoping she could get a unique role that will make her stand out again. Gladly, the next role she'll play is a shooter athlete/police officer. Her upcoming drama Good Boy is not a romcom, but I hope it still gets popular and many people will watch it.
As always, Korea is the best when it comes to historical/political movies, especially that are based in true stories. It's mind blowing and emotional. This movie made me so hooked and immersed with the plot and characters. I cried and it gave me even more heartache when they showed the real life footage and info at the end. Salute to the heroes and survivors š
I really find it funny in the scene where the female lead said she'll excuse herself from the project, then there's a boom sound effect and the second male lead looked up at her being shocked š
The second male lead is so annoying. He's a delusional, entitled, narcissistic guy who thinks he didn't do anything wrong. It's actually creepy how he deliberately put up their old photos and letters so his ex-girlfriend can see it. He's one step ahead of turning into a stalker. Even if he was sick, it doesn't excuse him for being a jerk and hurting the female lead. I'm so glad that the vice principal confronted him and told him to leave her alone. I hope the female lead will not fall for his sympathy card and instead, slaps him so his brain will fall back to the proper order.
Kim So-hyun was an excellent child actress. BUTTT, her recent dramas have not shown the same level of talent,…
You should watch "River Where The Moon Rises", her drama in 2021 where she played a warrior princess/assassin. Her acting is brilliant and it got her nominated for Best Actress in Baeksang, making her the youngest nominee at 22 years old. It's a historical drama so it's not that popular among kdrama fans and unfortunately, the actor had a controversy that made other people turn away.
I've watched Kim Sohyun's dramas since she was a child actress and honestly, romcoms doesn't really show her skills. She shines more in strong roles with emotional acting. Her next drama "Good Boy" has a good potential, it's a comic action crime drama where she'll play a shooter athlete turned police officer.
This could have been a healing drama of two childhood crushes reconnecting, but instead is full of angs and cliches:…
This. It's simple yet it could've been a good first love-second chance romcom, but they had to add the cliches just to keep the plot going and the fillers to make it longer. It probably would have been better if it only has 6 eps that focuses on the main couple's growth instead of adding other people.
For the blood, I think she probably tried to save him and take the knife off from him. But there's probably more that happened... (My other theory is, she could've tried to disposed his body.)
