I thought that the death of Ruo Wen was theatrical and it was very long lasting.
I knew he had to die because he was a mass murderer ( Civilians he killed entering Masui and all he long carreer of "desert ranker".) So I wasn't surprised. To me Ge Xin Wei also had to die for behing his partner in crimes.
In my opinion, the writers wanted us to cry.

I don't understand: If your son is supposed too enter Your sister's worst enemy football club, would you still let him do it?
How is it that the best friend let her son unprotected in this dangerous place.
The ML's mother can do so much harm to him :
- provoke an injury ;
- leak rumors about him to the other team members, so that they bully him ;
- leak false informations to hurt his reputation with the FIFA.
- try to hire escort girls or prostitutes to have intercourse with him and either fire him or mess with his head about baby stuffs ... Sex scandal + swindling.
- put drug him his room and make him get arrested by the police for drug harboring . This could get lee years in prison.

=> frankly I am very disappointed in FL's best friend. She is putting her son in a trap. Despite all this, she still thinks that she can retaliate against ML's mother. Well...Good luck.


Other thing, I suspect that, the husband told the mother that he wanted to take back FL (his mistress). This is why the mother was so pitiful after discussing with him. How disgusting. Like I said. He is jealous of his son ( the man) , he is not disturbed by the fact that , this man happens to be his son. And that man is dating his ex.
The mother and the father are the worst.

I like this drama. People complained about the ending and the fact that, there is 2 arcs. A first arc until episode 24 and a second arc after. And they would have liked the toxic romance to last all the drama.

No, Mei Lin was trained by "The Shadow works Faction" for the planned revenge. However, to frame war Minister Zhang YIn and the momai army. Prince Jing poisoned Mei Lin with Momai poison. So as to mimic the way Momai warriors operate. So that, when Mei Lin would die assassinating Prince Jing at the royal banquet. War Minister Zhang Yin would be suspected. This is why Mei Lin thought that Zhang Yin was the Master of Shadow Works.

Long story short Jing He created a fake Momai army to frame Momai army.


The leader of Momai army is Minister Zhang.
The leader of Eastern place guards is Crown Prince MRXL.

The ending :
On Episode 1 we saw that, as soon as Mei Lin appears asleeped and her father saves her, she wears the same outfit she wore in the happy ending sequence. We also see the Weibei army and Qinzhoun in fire.
Wich means that it is really their story that begins again in the ending of the show.

The drama ends with a happy ending. After all the hints about rebirth in the credit song, the allusion to their next life during the conversations of MRJH and ML. We see the Lead Couple together when snow starts to fall. And we know that the "Momai Poison" in them can be cured by the ''Snow dragon whisker seed" that blooms only in the snow. Now the snow is falling and the two of them are alive. We did not see anybody dying. This tells me that, they might have send people to harvest the Dragon Flower and cure themself.

Then jump in time. The color palette is yellow-ish. This indicates another reality. MRJH and ML are younger. There is no war in Qinzhou. They meet in a happy time when they are younger. And those who died in the previous paralell world are alive in this world.

This is the next life MRJH and ML spoke about so many time during the drama. They meet and fall in love on the spot. This is the happy ending.
Then the drama announces "The End"

Then jump to 15 years after that snowfall. MRJH is alone. And we understand that ML has died during this period. We don't know when. MRJH dies looking at the red fruit tree and dropping her hair pin. The color palette is blue-ish.

I have the impression they gave viewer a happy ending followed by

Yes, it is not a xianxia drama with multiple lives, like we are used to.
But the main theme of this drama is the rebirth and the next life symbolised by the "undying flower"

- Ok, Even after she escaped YQ, to me her feelings never changed, she considers it all in the past.
- Yes I agree with you , Mei Lin never valued her life. She prioritized others before her.
- But, I don't think that Jing He would harm people to save Mei Lin's life. That would make of him a Yin Que, who could recourse to "slave blood technique". This is not like all the actions Jing He performed for the greater good throughout the drama. He even tried to save the 10 beauties when he was framed of murder by YQ.

This is a happy ending not a sad ending.
In fact, there 2 endings. So no, the poster is not a spoiler.

I agree, she wasn't mad at him. I think that she knew it was all in the past ( she could not change any thing). At some point of time this is the sentence she said to Jing He when she tells him that she forgave him for poisoning her.
I think, that's her way of thinking.
To me she did not hold any grudge for what she could not change.
But she wasn't at peace with YQ like you said because she fled him. If she was at peace she would have stayed by his side, because she did not want to come back to Jing He anyway.
