So she is on the road to redemption but the married couple doesn't let her be.

And now the wife is playing with fire aroung a hunky soccer player. Shameless.

Episode 2 : Murong Jing He is innocent.

Prince Jing's fake love story with Mei Lin resumes. He nicknamed her "Little Beggar" and she becomes someone meaningful to him.
As Mei Lin is walking a path toward death, attempting to murder the culprit of the Qingzhou great arson. She collides with the depressed Prince Jing. Who, at this point of time, has lost his purpose and feels as good as dead.
This encounter sparks in him a living thirst for revenge with the clear goal of avenging the 100.000 civilians of Qinzhou as well as rehabilitating his comrades from the Weibei Army.
Mei Lin's relentlessness at kill him amazes him and he starts to admire her.

As the two lie on a subliminal crisom herbal bed staring at each other. Prince Jing has made up his mind. He will make of her his pawn. She will follow him on his quest for revenge because they need each other. They are already a pair.

I don't know what can stop ML mother's madness. I used to think it was ML but now I am puzzled.
Maybe she fears the public opinion. FL should expose her to be at peace, but she will never do that. She is a good person. I hope she gets exposed soon, so that she give our cute lead a truce.

Oh wow, thank you so much. This scene would have been disturbing to watch . Luckily it was improved, but the "spirit" of it remains with the tithe theme of the spring flowers instead of the rotten human flesh.
In this scene MRJH was nasty and too weird. However when I saw the flogging it felt BDSM again to me. I knew the tragedy would come.
I remember when MRJH walked among passersby with dead Mei Lin on his back, they said that he was carrying a corpse.
I was surprised because Mei Lin did not seem to be dead.

She is pissed OK.
But, isn't it ironic, that instead of going to one of the family's real estate apartments, she chose to go binge drinking wine at her soccer club premisise.
Where she is sure to meet with that hunky soccer player? Is she asking for it?
She is mad at her husband for cheating on her. But what is she doing there.
Will she fight infidelity with infidelity?
If she does. She won't be qualified anymore to stop ML from dating FL.
I guess, bad people are bad people, and this should be happening for the greater good of the main couple.
