Time travel dramas end up almost always sadly because the lead don't belong to the same time and space. I never watch "Mr Queen" but I would not be suprised if it is a sad ending.

Yes the ending has to be interpreted by you.
If you consider the story as unreal => then this is a happy ending.
If you consider the story as real => then this is a sad ending.

It's up to you to decypher it.

In screen time I got the feeling that I saw more often the bestfriend. This is the reason why I put this couple in the third place. But I might be mistaken

I like the leads but the third couple is amazing ( Zhao vs Rao)

The first 3 - 4 episodes are exposing the situations of the characters. The real story beggins at episode 5.

Yes. I never knew those times (-_-) because I was a die-hard fan of K-dramas.
My first ever c-drama was "the double" so...Here comes the newbie ^^
I noticed that now I almost exclusively watch c-dramas, amazing!!
But maybe Production company will find a loophole or another way to broadcast the whole shows more rapidly..
Why not create a law for average dramas and another one for long dramas..

The Chinese censorship oblige them to wait 1 year to air a 2nd season. So, impossible for them to beat AOS, indeed.
The Chinese authorities did not want production company to inflate the number of episode in order to make more monney.
This is why we waited a Year to have the Second season of "Lost you forever".

You might be right and this is sad. Lee Gong JI vs IU would be so great in a second season. Moreover this drama has an internationnal fanbase. But sadly, as you said this might remain a dream.

I think they want people to remember their work. Because human beings tend to remember more hardships than moments of bliss. They do it for their career. I my views they want to be famous.
Because either there will be a season 2 to right the wrongs in the storyline or people will remember crying so much at the end of the show.
