You are right. At the begginning she was sassy and independent. But once she became the eldest princess of haoling, she turned out to be a docile character. I know that all her scenes with XL were what kept me interested because the story could develop in an healthy way. I was not interested by her interactions with the clingy bad husband, the so called incestious brother and even less with the one who went after her because of her pedigree.
There is only one gay character to my recollection ( group member) I did not notice any over one.?
And one of the cast member is now a recording artist. So I don't think that the songs are low level, as you think. They were true to the topic in my opinion because the spice girls could have performed those songs. So I don't agree with you .
