As en exemple. TTEOTM and LYF aired the same year 2023.

TTEOTM took a 3 years process to be made.
TTEOTM featured originally 54 episodes. Yes, the censorship was already in application before the airing but the production company had the possibility to sell the first season of 40 episodes max and the remaining episodes subsequently ( 14 episodes).

But then the update was put in place to forbid subsequent airing of remaining episodes. Therefore, production companies had to wait 1 year before airing the remaining episodes.

As a result, TTEOTM's production company chose to cut 14 episodes and merge then into 40 by extending each episode's duration by maximum 54 minutes.

This could have happenned to LYF but the production team chose to abide the law. So, they aired 2 seasons with 1 year gap.

So yes, the update of the regulation was sudden and it impacted the drama.

FL is scared of being rejected because of the fake marriage contract. And ML is ashamed of stealing his brother's bride because he loves his brother.
Moreover, I don't know if you remember ML and SML's stepbrothers and stepsisters?

Yes, it is unfortunate that they cut all the scenes where XL looks for TSJ. He makes sure that he is healed and that TSJ can be brough back to XY.
They cut scenes that show his selfless love for XY.

A lot of people are complaning over the second season for being less interesting than the first one.
We musn't forget that this is because of the censorship sudden update. ( one year between seasons)
A lot of dramas were written to be aired in one go. So it is normal for the 2 seasons not to be balanced.
There were not supposed to be a second season in the first place.

I prefere not to be so critical.
