Yes, you are right. It is sad that the only solution to kill ADG was for TTJ to sacrifice his life by making Li Su Su give up on the love she had for him. That way, she could finish the "heartless way" and divinize.
I think that she trusted him but he killed her love for the greater good. Because she had to go to Nirvana to unlesh the godess power that could kill ADG once and for all.

Yes, LSS was harsh to him at first and gradually changed. But this is her character development. Her love for him was firstly unconcious then, by the water festival, she was openly in love with him.
Love is the most important part in this drama because I could not stand all this suffering if it wasn't for TTJ's journey to learn how to love.
I don't know if you noticed but this is a happy ending. TTJ is in the heart guarding scale cultivating. Like Ming Ye was in the pot, cultivating. And then Sang Jiu found him before her in his human form. So Li Su Su is just waiting for him :-)

But after the "dream" scene when he admited the TSJ's killing attempt. I hopped for him to remain silent forever. Because I feared a tragic outcome. That way he could also be her brother.

I second that. I was so suprised to find out that XL had only 7% and 14% screentime on the 2 seasons. He was the purpose of the understanding of the Title : Lost you forever. Because XY did not loose TSJ. This second male lead got the girl. So clearly, the drama is about XY loosing XL.
