Just watch it dear. I couldn't stop watching it when I started it. There is a huge cliffhanger at every episode's ending. So it was very addictive. have a nice watch. Hopefully S2 will be aired in 2025.

I think that, this is believable in this family, because Mama and Papa Baek went as far as hide their son, Grand' Pa tried to kill him, the son is a serial killer. It is very possible that Grand'Pa Baek took someone else's son, the same way Papa Baek took Sa Eon and abandonned his own son. Children are expendable in this family.

If this is true, Sa eon would be Grand' Pa Baek's son from a fling and Papa Baek would be an adopted son (without him knowing it). I did not see the % on the DNA test. But it should be significantly reduced, if they to were sharing DNA. Not 99.999% not related.

All you said is true, however in chinese dramas you get what you give. I knew he would die at the end because of his actions. Moreover, he never regretted his action, so he was not redeemable either. I think this is why his death was so longlasting with suffering. (1 minute or more, of suffering)

So the kiss was not unwelcomed ( FL was faking it, she was there on purpose to seduce ML and take revenge on his mother. So she was encouraging him in a subtl way, we see it later). I remind you that ML is a teen manipulated by an adult woman 10 years older than him. No wonder he cannot resist. As you dropped the show you'll never know. This is why I tell you.

Qingyun. Was able to come and go in and out of Bei Shuang's chamber because first he used secret passway, but more importantly, this place was abandoned and feared by all the courtesan. If you remember well, when Bei Shuang arrived she chose the palace located the more far away from the king's chamber and the one rumoured to be hanted. Therefore everybody feared the place. Honestly, I also was surprised to see him so at ease in the palace. Then I remembered that it was a forbbiden place.
Ge Xinwei was the worst to me. She was a mass murderer and a crazy follower of Ruo Wen.
Ruo Wen deserved justice?. He would have got justice if he wasn't a mass murderer. His crimes got him to be killed. I knew he would die at the end when I saw the inhabitants of Masui's corpses on the soil as the rankers took the city.

I noticed from the very start that she was the one giving orders and being obeyed at the Baeks Mansion. What Papa Baek says doesn't out weight her orders. (TV interview with Yu Ri i.e.).
It is going to end badly : for Mama Baek ( I can feel that the cops will catch her in a bad or compromising situation); for Papa Baek ( I feel that he will fall in his own trap, trying to tarnish Sa Eon); And for the hidden son ( the cops will either kill him or catch him)
