25. Favorite Romance of 2024I will purposefully ignore "The Double", "When The Phone Rings", "Lost You Forever"…
Kim Hye-yoon is wonderful everywhere she is featured. She did a cameo in "Goblin", in which she was superb and I was very moved by her character. She is one of my favs. Regarding Byeon Woo-seok, he is just so cute in this drama. This is a must watch. However, you might have second male lead syndrome with this drama. Because SML is very endearing.
If an art work (music, movies, drama, painting, sculpture...) gets traction. It is because it speaks to people in a way. Regardless of technical features. So I would say let ut speak to you, and you'll known what it is all about. Enjoy the watch :)
Great movie. Like @panda, I also wished it was a drama, so that the characters can be developped more, and the ending can be changed. Superb acting by Lee Jun Ho as usual. Also liked Choi Gwi Hwa. Great performance. Directing was wonderful.
Merry blessed Xmas!🎄 25. I have a couple of favourite romance for 2024 which I won’t rank them but just list…
I agree with your review of it. I also loved the mature romance in "knight flower" and the way it ends. As for "Love next Door" I did not pass the bickering stage so i understand that I did not see their chemistry evolve. That makes sense. Thank you for the list I am sure I will appreciate those.

25 - Merry Christmas. "Love Next Door" was a satisfying romance? I started to watch it but someone told me it was a melodrama and the FL was hidding an ugly secret that impacted ML so I stopped. "Knight Flower: I thought about it too, but the romance is slow burn and platonic, so I hesitated. Thank you for the other recommendation.
Q25 "The End of the Year Drama Challenge is back for its fifth year! This is the 2024 edition with new and old…
25. Favorite Romance of 2024 I will purposefully ignore "The Double", "When The Phone Rings", "Lost You Forever" and "Love of Nirvana", such great romances all with a different approach.
I would nominate :"Lovely Runner"
Special mention to : "Blondie in Ancient Times". A goofy lakorn in wich a modern day influencer (Female Lead) timetravels to 19th century during slavery with the sole mission to help a slave ( Male Lead) to find love. I laughed so much and the ending also was satisfying. I loved this show for mixing well romance and comedy. Few more details : https://kisskh.at/profile/unbeliebubble/reviews/413714
Yes, you are right. I think that, This is his evil nature resurfacing for a second. He was never good anyway.
LOL. Yes Speed x 2 kills your understanding of a show. This line is very important to both ML & FL. I let you rewatch it and appreciate that moment. It made my heart flutter:)
Hey got your notification! The fact that SW wasn't aware of a fourth missing kid seems highly suspicious considering…
I agree the twin is the mastermind. If Sang U's involvent is coincidental, why did Sang U froze when Sa Eon accused him ? This is what keeps my attention, but it might also be to mislead us viewers.
It is possible indeed that the mastermind doesn't know that Sa Eon is not the real Baek heir. If the Hidden son set the fire at the old man's store. Even if the twin knows about the hidden son's real identity or not. The arson was a trap decided collectively. Given the personnality of the hidden son : anger management issues, studdering when excited, hate of Sa Eon. I am not sure he can hide his motive to the mastermind who seems more intelligent and in control than him. Would the hidden son capable of hidding his true identity? I am not sure. If the mastermind knows that Sa Eon is an impostor, why is he coming after him? Did Sa Eon do something shady? I mean, if Sa Eon has nothing to do with the orphanage and the Baeks, why pestering him? This is where I start to wonder how Sa Eon's real father know Grand'Pa Baek and why did he know that Grand'Pa Baek was about to Drawn the hidden son? Because if you remember, the real dad told Sa Eon at the river that he was disobedient and went outside whereas he asked him not to. Was Sa Eon's real father accomplice of the murder attempt on the hidden son? And the payment of the crime was to give Sa Eon a rich life. This is why the real father entrusted Sa Eon to the Baeks. If, at that point of time, the hidden son was at the orphanage and the Grand'Pa Baek send someone to abduct him in order to kill him. And that someone abduct one of the twins by mistake. And Grand'Pa Baek killed the twin.
This would make sense that the second twin, witnessing the situation ( at the bank, because he followed his brother) , and holding a grudge against Sa Eon for plucking the benefits of this murder.
Wow that would be amazing. (*_*) And that would explain the whole mystery. => Grand'Pa Baek mistakenly killed the twin.
So when on the projector, it was witten "you killed him " , That would be a manipulative way of taking revenge on Sa Eon by messing with his head. And I would understand why the mob lured Sa Eon at his real father store and set the store on fire. It would be to kill the two culprits of the twin's murder. The next murder would have been the Grand'Pa Baek's but he is already dead.
Would the sinister secret In A's dad is afraid of be the murder of the hidden son ( but the real twin)?
"The mastermind is out for blood and might resent the fact that SU survived? " Yes, that makes sense. He wants to finish his "great mission" of killing all the orphans. And when he learned that Sang U arrived in the city, he rushed his plan to go after him and got bolder. True.
I wait to see what Mama Baek will do to find her hidden son. She already sent a message. I wonder how the hidden son will react. ^^

Thank you, you too are very sharp in your analysis of the situation. Of course There migh be red herrings, either the twin or another person who loved him and want to avenge him. Would it be a girl ex-lover. The story would be totally surprising. Theorically in this case the lover would be on the orphanage photograph. But my imagination goes wild here ^^.
It is a translation error indeed. Because they translated "You're the killer." But it actually reads : 니가한짖이잖아 => You did it. 니가죽였잖아 => You killed him. They would like us to believe that Sa Eon is a grey character. And it relates to what In A accused him of doing before Hee Joo.
You might be right the twin is definitly involved and this is a revenge. The twin might be the mastermind in this case, not Mama Baek ?
Yes, you are right. I think that, This is his evil nature resurfacing for a second. He was never good anyway.
You are very courageous. I coulldn't wait. It was so interesting. And ML and FL's push and pull made it even better. So you binged it. How great. I will re-watch it. My Favourite line( ML) : "I regret it" ^^
Yes, you are right. I think that, This is his evil nature resurfacing for a second. He was never good anyway.
Yes this is the same person : sect head master. No, the entity is a sorte of non incarnate being who wanted to have a body. The entity was like a dark cloud. Don't you remember? And it gave him orders. You should maybe rewatch som parts of the show. you forgot some details :)
Yes, you are right. I think that, This is his evil nature resurfacing for a second. He was never good anyway.
Because the head master was coerced by an entity who promised him to resurect his lost love : a female disciple he was in love with. In the process, the entity also wanted to go to the reincanation of himself. To do so the entity needed two children . An immortal ( female lead ) that he adopted after killing her real father, and the heir of the underworld Queen ( Second Male Lead ) he stole from his mother while she was pluking herbs to heal her baby in the barren forest ( if I remember well the name of this forest). The two babies had to grow and die in the process of the entity's resurrection. But I believe, it was a lie, from the start.

This a quote from this drama. No other series.
