I think that the writers might have had this idea. If not. I am almost sure they read reviews. So they might be reading my comment now ( in their own timeline).

Concerning "Forever Love", I have watched this drama. It is indeed very good. And the chemistry is fire I liked it.
I was like you, I happened to previously watch "maid's revenge" and then, wanting to stay with the lead couple, I watched "Forever Love".
I also would like to say that the best between the 2 dramas is "Maid's revenge".
It left a lasting impression in me, and the feeling lingers untill now.
What is done, is done. Even if they unfortunatly spoiled the ending. Don't hesitate to watch it.
With this drama you will understand what longing glares and unstoppable desire is about.
This plot reminds me of the 80's 90's harlequin novels.
See how Male Lead as he is close to Female Lead. Like for superman, for Male Lead : Female Lead is his Kryptonite.

I agree with you. The characters are marvellous in this drama. This drama reminds me a lot of Tex Avery cartoons. Each character is unique in his own way, and their interactions is what makes the drama stand out.

True. It is often like that in dramas. In the begining it is joyful and funny. After that it becomes angsting and serious as the plot develops.

Oh dear, When you will set foot in this drama you will get addicted. There is a lot of speculation and theories now on this page to find the real culprit. This is crazy. People try to freeze the screen to catch a sequence, a 3 seconds sequence which could help them see a mole on someone's hand. Unbelievable.

I did not change my mind. After watching "Lost You Forever" I am aknowledging the position of the author who did choose to build a drama about a couple ( Xiang Liu & Xiao Yao) which never found themself : thus the title "Lost You Forever".

Indeed, I voiced my opinion passionately or decisively if you like, because the fanwars was raging and people was insulting others personally. I would have never lowered myself to that level.

This is the type of relationship I was refering to.

Xiang Liu always stopped himself from showing his feelings to Xiao Yao.
He always hid them, but it doesn't mean that he wasn't in love with her.
He wasn't an unrequited lover either because Xiao Yao loved him too, this is why she did the first step several times, whitout any success.
Their platonic love just never transformed into a sexualised love. They never kissed.
This is why their relationship is a platonic love. It is not a friendship you are right.

10 - He directed "Blossom" ?? Well now , I really have to watch it. I watched Familiar stranger so many times. It is good each time.
11- "When the phone rings" is very good. Some people are even looking closely to find the real culprit. They are empressive.
"Love in the desert" annoyed me because so much people wanted to rape women in this drama. Thanks God, nobody ended up being raped but I was afraid for FL and the SFL too all along.
12 - Yes XL & XY developped feelings but they could never be together.
I don't remember any kiss. XL was always hot and cold. He stopped Xiao Yao every single time.
Most of the twist and turns happened in S1. S2 was just the ending of the drama. They were suprised by the censorship. They did not write a multi season drama in my opinion. This is why S2 is less interesting.

About sisterhood there is also "dream of splendor", the relationship between the 4 girls is very loving and healthy most of the drama.

3 - Me too . I only watched "follow your heart" for Xixi.
After his accident, given the recovery period, they had to find a solution.
I think they summoned the writers, and asked them to give more scene to that bandit, Bai guegue. Because at some point I thought he had become the ML.

"The double"( masterpiece to me) or,
" When the phone rings"( so far masterpiece ) or ;
"Love in the desert" (despite how they treated the women [as piece of meat] in the desert, I still liked the show.)

"Lost You Forever" : Xiang Liu x Xiao Yao . They made me pass through all emotions.
"Are you human too" : Android Nam Shin III. FL had such an understanding of him and he was so human and understanding as well.

Chen Xiao is a kpop artist. This is why she is the best of them all in this video. YanAn is great too. But she is nailing it.

Xiang Liu's life was doomed from the start. He was responsible for an entire population, realistically he did not have a choice. His only ending was death on the battlefield. This is why the author gave this title to the drama. Xiao Yao was never able to be with Xiang Liu.
I liked that The writer worked on the concept of Male Lead in a new way for this drama.
I am not sure if the attention Xiao Yao could have from Tushan Jing would be different from Xiang Liu's.
But as Xiang Liu's life was doomed from the start, he could have never survived to be with Xiao Yao. Thanks to Xiang Liu, Tushan Jing was at least there to accompany her in the end. And this is a solace.

WOW, I would have never imagined that you had almost the same experience. I wish it ended differently.
I have second male lead syndrome for this drama. Chang Liu was my fav and the logical choice, given the title of the drama.
Yes, it ended well all the characters. Exept the 4th ML and the 3rd ML i.e. Chang Liu in terms of screen time.

If the hidden son tried to recruit Sang U when he was little. It might mean that all the culprit's organisation counts former orphans from the same place in which he recruited new members over the years.

Someone told me that he felt forced to watch LYF as it aired, because Chang Liu was everywhere on the internet, as a result this viewer could not afford to wait until every episode was out, to start the show ( like he always does) , because he wanted to avoid being spoiled at all cost.
So he had to watch as it aired. LOL.
