I forgot the last Kdrama I watched as I have been more interested in Cdramas lately. I felt Kdramas lost their…
This had potential if it ended by ep12..I don't know what else is there to explore? Redemption of the villain? Naahh.. Currently they are going in a loop of happy and sad moments that it's getting tiring like there is no end to it.
I agree with you on Cdramas, I too have departed from Kdramas and came to watch this.. and wasn't delightful or happy.. dissappointed I think
Unf***n believable. How long are Netflix going to a**kiss psycho koreans, they should not only release it but…
they are mostly worried of the backlash they'll receive in SK rather than any other country. Knets are notorious in destroying idol's or actor/actresses lives like a bug on road. Tbf SK needs a revamp of the whole internet usage, same goes for China. These good-for-nothing keyboard warriors have no purpose in life other than destroying a successful career of hardworking people. They don't allow you to marry who you like/ date who you like or hnagout with whom you like - everything is under scrutiny.
Turkish citizens on the other hand arent that stringent on these topics, there is media hype some court case and it'll just blow over in few months. All they need is a new drama to get them hooked and poof they'll forget. I would say Turkish citizens are more forgiving than Knets/Cnets are..
Although it's sad that these people haven't yet learned after losing such a phenomenal actor Lee Sun Kyun due to a wrongly accused drug case that now they on this bandwagon of destroying someone else's. If there is anyone to be blamed it's the Knet keyboard warriors. YAI is such a great actor, feels sad to see his career being trampled.
yeah makes no sense who they that ML is not faithful.. somehow the writers like to mess around with FL and SML at times making viewers doubt the sincerity of FL until they confess.
If there is a series with all smiles and sweet romance this would be it. You can fast forward some of the SFL drama or politics but once the main leads click, they click. waow I have never seen such strong chemistry, kisses and depth to a relationship between two workaholics. It's really nice to see how they understand and change a part of themselves to adapt to the new soul that has entered their lives. Truly beautiful, both leads are memorable.
when the ML dies to seal the chaos his souls disperses into mortal world, but why are all his souls adult already? shouldn't they grow through normal human standards like baby to adulthood?
The plot is intriguing but do you expect me to watch the leads talk for minutes and minutes about something I will forget after I finish the drama. Like half the time the characters are just randomly talking about their past and things that happened, I mean it's a slow pace drama I think and I don't slow pace ones but there needs to be something I can sit behind and a character or a storyline. actresses/actors and fighting scenes are great, very good acting too. I loved the plot about assassin and betrayal but it just wasn't sitting right with me. It felt like the drama lacked a cunning/clever ML or worthy villain. could be a good watch but idk dropped at 10
If you are coming in for romance - Im sorry you'd be disappointed, if you are coming in for male lead getting together - utter disappointed, and if you are coming to see the leads kiss - you'll be devastated.
Believe it or not the first kiss is not consent between both characters rather it's a forced kiss. If you see it objectively it's a sexual assault. I mean for the story yeah, but BTS paints a different picture still.. I waited so long for them to be togther as I was expecting some crazy romance but their first kiss just was so shocking I lost interest in the plot. FYI their first kiss is on ep 32, the drama is 38 episodes lol.
While the politics and acting are phenomenal, you kinda get used to the plot by 10-15 episodes, the usual hero wins and villain loses and you overcame fate kinda thing.
I would say I was happy that I started this drama but can't say the same while finishing it. Wasn't worth it.
In the ending of ALP Bai Jue returns to Shang Gu and the scene ends there, however in this drama Gu Jin says that his father sacrificed himself for the world and his mother cried/waited something something. He doesn't mention that he came back, was the ending of ALP not canon? I read that novel and drama differ quite a bit in terms of ending and father-son relationship.

I know the FL getting drunk and kissing ML trope is the most common one..
