It seems rather strange that YZ wasn't informed that CY was wandering around looking for CN for 2 months now. One would think he's gonna keep tabs on her. Or atleast send someone to inform her that they know CN's whereabouts to keep her from worrying.

They better give LingHe a good scene in the next episodes because he's recently getting upstaged here and there.
Between Changyu eating/crying scene, BaoEr and QM, BaoEr and Ning, Changyu and Butcher squad, there's so many emotional and powerful scenes lately. What an amazing cast.

That tub scene with QiMin and QianQian is not in the novel, right? Why don't I remember it, which chapter is it? 🤔

Yu BaoEr has his psycho dad's streak, but good thing he'll have better people around him once he's free.

Leon was even a better father, he loves their child even without the FL. Matthias was unemotional about the child and even tried to kill it to save Leyla. He only came to love it later.
Too bad QiMin couldn't love their child, it would have helped win Qianqian.

QiMin really reminds me of the MLs in the novel Try Begging and Cry,Even Better if you Beg.
Qianqian should play along and stop antagonizing him for now.
Their toxic relationship is a big no no in real life, but it is so thrilling on tv 😩🙈

Does anyone have recommendations for series with characters like QiMin? I mean like the real deal yandere psychopath, but one where he is atleast slightly 🤏 redeemable towards a happy ending. 🙈

Granny's scene was the most emotional for me.

Just to add some context as I feel tv version of their separation scene is a bit confusing.
I believe their relationship is far advance in this drama than in the novel at this point of time. There was a clear understanding that he would soon leave, and that is also his original resolve. However, CY nonchalantly talking about getting remarried and SongYan triggered YZ nasty jealousy. He lost his temper and therefore the forced kiss (repeated forced kiss and some sarcastic harsh words -- it was a longer scene in the novel) and telling her to be with him instead. This was not part of the original plan, because otherwise he shld have started with that. Since he was being unintentionally honest with his feelings already, he also asked her to wait for a year (2yrs in the novel). But at this point, CY was already too hurt and angry to see reason that they anyway want to be together. Of course, she regrets this later.
On YZ side, his ego also suffered, this was the first time he confessed and he was rejected, therefore leaving without a proper goodbye. Of course he also comes to his senses later.
Basically two hot tempered characters who got overrun with emotions and unspoken feelings for each other.

It's time for Xie Zheng to show his real unhinged self 🤣
