I have watched the trailers -- which one shows he will die?!? Confused
I saw on tiktok, which I assumed was from a trailer. There was fire and DW was carrying an injured/dead body(Shrimp?) and then she got shot by an arrow.
Okay, based on the trailer it seems Shrimp will die 😢 We gotta ready our hearts. And it also looks like ML shot her with an arrow to intercept another arrow, but his arrow still ended up hitting her (but atleast not in the vital spot). I'm ready for all the angst. Actually, all these sad scenes are giving me a good feeling that the ending will be happy. It's like the opposite of dramas that starts happy but ends sad.
😂😂 or if she just got on the boat with the hour that they had
Yeah, that frustrated me too, though I tried to make logic for that scene. Haha They could possibly still be chased on water if no one was actively blocking the pursuer.
I'm usually someone who rarely get emotional over sad dramas / endings, but I'm on episode 3 of this drama and I've been crying non-stop. You know when LuSi takes on a pitiful character, your heart will for sure ache for her. I remember first time seeing her in The Long Ballad and everytime she cries I cry with her, same as in LLTG. Such an amazing actress!
I hope this is one of those drama that will make as feel all this angst but will pay off with a happy ending. Please 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I paused after ep14. But I think I'm not gonna continue anymore. It's already bad they turned ML from badass to pathetic simp. And with the spoilers about the ending. I don't know if it will be worth the time anymore. Such a pity, I really like the ML in the beginning.
Considering it's released in October I think they could have amped up the eerie vibe...
I agree, but they probably don't want to lose more audience demographic. I'm sure there are those who already won't give this a chance because it's not typical romance.
It's one of those series where I wouldn't even mind if there is no romance. Also, I actually like the random comedy (as they don't overdo it), without that the story has a certain eerie vibe to it.
I'm on episode 3 now. It really feels like an adventure friendship anime to me rather than romance. I like it but I hope it won't be episodic where they only go solving one case after another.
That was a great ep1. If they continue like this, it'a gonna be great. I can't quite explain it but it feels really unique and refreshing. Maybe the soundtrack or the way the camera pans and the action scenes, it gives a modern feel. It's also giving anime vibes with like how OP the main lead is, and also the off beat comedy. Anyway, on to ep2!!
Can you share a bit what happened in the novel? Did he really rape her?
I just want to know if she got raped by his soldiers. Was she or was she not? I was curious to read it, but if yes, then I probably shouldn't read it.😢

So young and yet so accomplished.
He's amazing in Pearl Girl, I hope his character doesn't get killed off.

It's kinda creepy also, like they are not emotional crying but you just see tears randomly rolling down.
