On Squid Game Season 2 Dec 28, 2024
And I'm convinced that there can only be two ending.
A- they put a stop to it all, like a feel good ending for a heroic type movie
B- GiHun finally breaks and lose faith in humanity and becomes the new frontman.

I would want optionA for my mental health, but I have a feeling it will be B.

People are harsh with the ratings. It's still good although there's not much element of surprise compared to the experience when watching s1. For a sequel that followed such a hype, it did pretty well.
It did feel like a stretched out intro for s3 but that not really a bad thing.
The amount of new characters introduced are alot and it's a given they need this season to make us attached and root for them in S3.
The major difference from S1 I noticed though is that S2 felt a little tame and like a hero-type movie, S1 was a lot unhinged.

Ep16. JiYong rarely shows up but why is it that he has more chemistry with the FL than the ML. Their scenes and bickering are so natural. He also looks like a solid character.
So far ML is still only okay for me. Can't quite explain it but I feel like he's a puppy acting as a lion. He has a weak aura I would say. Doesn't help that FL is also too strong.
I would still push thru to see how this develops.

Ep12 and so far it's good.
I think that's the best thing about dramas that were never in the radar prior to airing, no expectation and then you get positively surprised.

I was not a fan of either the ML or FL actors. I guess Liu YunRui was heavily overshadowed by LingBuyi in LLTG and also overall it's hard for any General characters to top LingBuyi. Nonetheless, I don't find the acting lacking.
I would not call it amazing though.

The best thing about this drama for me is the story and how fast paced it is. So far there is no filler and each episode is packed with a lot of plot and progress.

Ep 11 now. I'm a bit confused about their convo during the ice cream scene. Did JiYong also regress? Does he know what happened in the other timeline? Or is it just about feeling that Prince Qing will most likely rebel?

conspiracy theories ppl are real
Lol it's not a conspiracy. It's a valid assumption, even Survivor contestants admit to some behind the scenes exemptions.

There are couple of shelters in the area, I'm sure one atleast have plumbing and electricity where they house the rest of the staff and charge equipments. I think behind camera they let them atleast use the bathroom and wash there. There's no way that lake water is free from bacteria.

I've always felt it was a pity they haven't brought DongHwi in Boys Over Flowers Africa together with the other Reply casts, glad to see him here. They're a good mix in this, seems the casting deliberately chose English speaking actors. Looking forward to more episodes 🥰

I am yet to watch this but I feel like it might be over hyped and my expectations might not be met...the way the…
Me, I'm very picky with dramas and I rarely watch Kdramas anymore. I moved to Cdramas and even there kept dropping overhyped series.
This one I would say is refreshing, it's not mindblowing amazing but I think it deserves the hype. It's very fast paced, has wattpad-ish vibe but surprisingly not cringey because the acting is really good. I like the mystery aspect too and the constant plot twist. I would say it's worth watching, I actually hoped they dropped all the episodes at once.

i didn't watch that drama...can you plz tell me how was the female lead?damsel type or strong personality
Nope, it's a popular korean webnovel that was adapted in English and also manhwa. It's setting is medieval european fantasy. The female lead starts really weak and insecure but there is so much character development. She also has speech impediment

This is random but for some reason this reminds me of Under the Oak Tree. I know the plot is not exactly the same but their original power dynamics is so Riftan&Maxi coded.
Forced marriage, powerful tsundere husband, meek wife that is starting to develop a backbone. I'm loving it so far haha
On When the Phone Rings Nov 23, 2024
In the beginning it reminds me of those angsty chinese mini series, but wow, that twist hooked me.
Here's to hoping the coming eps are not gonna be cringe. But so far I like it, excellent ep1!

Title The Story of Pearl Girl Spoiler
He's fine. He doesn't die or anything.
Thank you. This sounds like a better conclusion than all the others who said he went away to die alone.
