On All of Us Are Dead Jan 29, 2022
I keep thinking how disgusting their DIY toilet is. If I were in there I would have suggested that they can pee on a tumbler or whatever cointainer and then throw/pour it outside the window. As for poop they could do the same, pretty sure you can find something in that room which they can use and then again throw it outside. I know it is still disgusting, but not as disgusting as collecting all pee and waste on a single container and keeping it inside a room without ventilation. Imagine being the last to use it.haha

"the main male lead"
I edited. I meant both ML Sure you can say Cheongsan is the main, but I find them equal in the story. :)
On All of Us Are Dead Jan 29, 2022
The female leads were annoying AF. The boys carried this show, the 2 main ML and also their loyal friends.
My favorite side character towards the end are DaeSu and MinJi(the foulmouth but softhearted girl)

This has a solid pacing, really entertaining although as expected from Zombie series, there are many frustrating scenes. However, the ending is weak for me. It felt like it suddenly went offcourse.

I was expecting a full redemption arc for NaYeon, but then I realized the casting and shooting for this was done way before SquidGame fame.

Omg🤦🏼‍♀️ how can you guys not see how clearly bothered she was and was just playing it off in front…
I get that she's bothered seeing Thyme with another girl. But why is she not wondering it's with Hana out of the blue?
Replying to lilili Jan 23, 2022
I agree, that was really strange. That's why a lot of the episode didn't really work for me until we got to the…
Exactly! It was Hana's account. I'm not really convinced with this 'she's just distracted' explanation. Realistically speaking, you might ignore if the first second but you would for sure double take when it sinks in. And if she's so distracted about Thyme, the more reason she'll pay attention to that IG story. So I find it really weird, even the caption/subtitle was confusing to me.

Help me out pls.
I'm confused on one scene in episode 5, when Gorya is watching an Instagram story of Hana with Thyme, why didn't she even react? How come she didn't question why Thyme and Hana are together? Or how Hana looks different?

I have the same problem with this show I thought I was just being biased, I have never been moved by any of Nara's…
Exactly. I have nothing against Nara and actually like her on ItaewonClass but I do think she doesn't fit this role in Bulgasal. Like you I can't seem to care about her plight. It's almost like she has an on/off switch for different acting scenes and they don't feel natural at all. Like she couldn't properly grasp her character and only acts per individual scene requirement. Imho, either HanYoojoo or ParkBoYoung would do a better job.

With Sol I also really like her version in the past, specially her delivery of the scenes with her son. In the modern world, we still yet to see how it develops.
Hwal is also good, but gets overshadowed from LeeJoon's acting.
And then when he's with Nara, as mentioned she couldn't keep up also and we couldn't feel the what is supposed to be an intense scene. I know Director wants tension and angst on their scene but it doesn't deliver, most of the time I'm just like 'Just kill her already and be done with it'.

I hope it gets better though! *cross fingers*

In ep 3, when Doyoon's character is introduced and he's put in the trunk, they made his eye look all bloodied…
Yes. This also explains his illogical desire to be close to Hwal. If he's not A-chan then his character doesn't make sense at all.
On Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Jan 1, 2022
I feel like for a project with this high budget they could do better with the script and story flow. A lot of things doesn't seem to have any logic because the script is bad.
Also I don't know if it's again the script or Kwon Nara's acting, but her character is not delivering at all.
For me the highlight of this show so far is the epic pilot episode.
Later episodes are a bit all over the place but Lee Joon's appearance is saving it. His character is so far the most compelling in this show. I like how he is able to deliver that violent and civilized aura, it gives me that unsettling feeeling.

This got me hooked from beginning to end. I'm still confused why he has to go to cold sleep again but nevertheless I enjoyed this movie a lot.
On Well-Intended Love Dec 27, 2021
It's honestly not as bad as some of the extreme negative reviews say. It's the typical chinese manhua and wattpad story.
But it feels like they only have 20dollars and a box of donut for costume budget.
The characters literally wear 2 sets of clothes like uniform lol
And why can't they brush the hair sticking out of ML's head.

Person Lee Joon
Damn Lee Joon's really on a roll lately!
I always used to remember him as that funny and clumsy idol in RunningMan. I couldn't forget when he first guested, he ran off leaving his cameraman and hid in a cardboard box for 20mins, and then came back drenched in sweat without any video footage haha And also everytime he joins the idol olympics episode, he's always the black hole in the team.hahaha

And now I see him with his acting roles and I'm totally amazed how cool and electrifying his presence is! Especially on Bulgasal and Silent Sea. He's now really giving me that JuJiHoon vibes. And because of his goofy offcam persona, he can also pull off that endearing roles like in My Father is Strange.

I'm excited for his future projects and he definitely gained my admiration in his acting career.

why do I feel like that the person who killed her mum and sister was ok eul tae. he is immortal too as mentioned…
Yes. I do recognize Lee Joon's chin and lips from the flashback memories.

Maybe in previous lives her grudge was Bulgasal killed her and stole her soul and she was getting revenge by taking…
Yes. That's why the shaman said it's an endless cycle of revenge and death. Perhaps in their prime life they were originally lovers and then something happened that kept the chain of killing each other repeatedly.
On Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Dec 20, 2021
I started this without even watching the trailer, and now I'm really hooked! I didn't expect it to be this good. Episode 1 is like a movie in it's own, great cinematography and moving story. Episode 2 is also very intruiging.

I think it was Joon though who killed her family.

What do you mean by older China version? I think there is only one version by China, isn't it?
I see. I only knew the one with Dylan. Thanks for the info :)
