Young Bokdong is so cute.
And the young Prince/DalMi really look like Olivia Rodrigo.
Episode 3 in and I'm liking it so far. I have dropped so many series these past months and it has been a while where I reached ep3 without losing interest.

I'm not saying this because of fake hope or something. But the tides seem to be turning, after everything settled, a lot of people (and importantly the Knets) are supporting KSH and wanting him to stand again.
You can argue about past history of 2d1n but as of today, I would say there is a bigger chance that he might return.
We will actually see more in the next episode, I feel bad for saying this but it might be good if the ratings dip and management change their mind.

I totally agree with you. If he really is this horrid person then I don’t know if I can watch him in shows when…
Yeah, I get you. Sadly in Korea the concept of image precedes talent. The cleaner your image is the more any kind dirt thrown are magnified. Not saying I'm taking SeonHo's side, but I'm also not siding with the ex-gf nor do I think of her as a victim.
That girl definitely knows what she's doing, she's old enough and after 2 failed marriages, I don't believe one other guy can simply 'force' her against her will.
Sounds to me like she desperately tried to hold on to SeonHo and was complacent in aborting the baby to keep him, thinking marriage in exchange of the baby. And then he jilted her and it must have sucked seeing him do so well in his career. That long letter was drafted before hand and she timed posting it after HomeCha.
And now she said she never expected the impact?😂 Like girl, don't pretend you did it just to take it out of your chest, it was obviously done with the intention to ruin him. If she wanted an apology, she could have reached out privately or even threaten his agency.
And SeonHo, he was really too good to be true and just turned out like any other guy. Sounds from the post if we were to believe it all that money and fame did really get into his head.
And what a worst way to humble him back. ☠️

yes, that is exactly the point. They are slightly scripted with exaggeration, like how Kim Jongkook is strong or how bratty Dindin is. It is not the case that reality is a complete 180 change from their character. Don't get me wrong, SeonHo is also the reason I started watching 2d1n. I am not petitioning to kick him out, it just that I also understand from the KBS side why they made the decision.
As you've said it's hard to fake personality during filming of 2d1n, but then again you will have that doubt that what if the allegations are real and he's faking it, and as you've said that's psychopathic. One moment you fully believe there's no way he's faking this, then the next second you remember the ex-gf post and questions if there is truth in it or not.
And these are thoughts that shouldn't be associated with a variety show as it is supposed to be fun and to an extent real.
It's gonna be super awkward if they keep him and pretend like nothing happened.
I wish though at one point he addresses everything and be open about it, and then he can be back again.

I agree with you on the acting side. And it really is normal to complain once in a while. I would say I could still watch him in movies where I know he is acting as a character.

But it is a different case with reality show where they are supposed to be themselves. Specially on a show like 2d1n which highlights bonds and friendship between members. I do not harbor any fantasy that these reality shows are 100% real. However, the thing with SeonHo is he capitalized so much on his good boy image. Had it been any other member with a different image, the impact of such allegations even if proven true would not be so detrimental. I also blame production for giving him cheesy edits and further encouraging his squeaky clean image making no room fault (for example as compared to Dindin which we think of as the troublemaker). He is not acting as a character in 2d1n. As much as we know it's not 100% real, we take some comfort seeing the friendship in the show. It is what keeps most audience watching, because to be honest some of their games are boring and it's only fun because we see how close they are and how they interact. Only now to be questioning what goes behind the camera.
SeonHo is talented as an actor and I do hope he manage to get back up, but this time hopefully they repackage his image.

Did you guys read the whole post by his ex-gf?
Maybe it's just me, but the whole break up and abortion thing did not bother me as much, it's also heavily biased as it was written by the ex-gf. That is their personal affair and had nothing to do with him as an artist and entertainer.

However, what really bothered me are the allegations that he bad mouths his co-stars and crew, curses about the shows which gave him the boost to stardom and coldly throws away gifts from fans.

I could still watch him in 2d1n even after knowing the decision to abort the child and even with the details of his messy breakup. But if the claims regarding his personality is also true, how am I suppose to watch him in 2d1n being all sweet and brotherly with the other members when at the back of my mind I'm thinking that he was probably faking it and is also badmouthing the other members behind their backs?

Guys, don't stan people! Just move on to the next hot actor. If you are that thirsty, I can give you a list of…
HAHAHA you shld also add Park Seo Joon, he had been steady climbing higher and higher, and now even in Hollywood. If they've got some dirt on him they would have thrown it already given his rise to stardom. Either he's clean or his agency is very good in keeping things.

The way things unfold, I'd be realistic and say there are only 2 possible way to save this.
Yes, they can continue as 5, but this is not a long term solution as Ravi will enlist soon. And 4 persons cannot possibly sustain this kind of show just by themselves.
so,
OPTION 1- they wait for the dust to settle and management of KSH find a way to create a narrative which will be in his favor. If this happens, he can possibly come back by the time Ravi leaves. This is also not unheard of as in the previous seasons, the members with scandal manages to come back.

OPTION 2- they really need to recruit new members. and yes, more than 1 new cast. It's gonna be awkward and will put a lot of burden if only one new member is added. If atleast 2, they can play around and diffuse the mood. It's also not too late to do so, if Somin and Sechan managed to integrate with the RM members who had a 7yr bond, if will not be too hard to establish rapport with the current season4 members and their 2yrs of bond.

It's such a sad situation. SeonHo was last member who I thought would have a scandal. The worst thing is that he capitalized so much on his good boy image that's why it's so hard to work around the issue.

I will still watch this show just because I appreciate the other members efforts. Because I can see that they are trying so hard and this show means a lot to them, and for some it's probably their biggest break and biggest source of income. Dindin always said they should take care not to cause trouble and affect the show, and here goes. And for JongMin, it's ending like this show is revolving door for casts.
I'd like to think their friendship is truly real, but at this point, what even is real and fake. I'll just try to watch for the laughs now and hope not to get too attached.

I hope they do that...please. I cant imagine 2D1N giving up on Kim Seon Ho. :((( TT
Makes sense. I also now just read the whole post from the ex-gf, and I must admit I now have mixed feelings about him. The whole drama about their relationship doesn't bother me as much as that is their private affair. However if it was true also regarding the claims on how he badmouths his co-stars and shows he's in, then that really puts me off.

KSH is leaving the show. I don't think it's a good idea to recruit new members because it seems like the people…
That is true, and also diminishes the brotherhood bond that they established. However, what other choice is left? When Ravi go on hiatus, the other 4 cannot possibly continue just by themselves.
On 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4 Oct 20, 2021
I am completely heartbroken for the cast and crew. Bang GeulYi should step up and try to make hard decision to save this show. Given that Ravi will have to leave for the army soon, the best probably is to add more members.

I do not even mind keeping SH despite the controversy, but his squeaky clean good boy image clashing with the scandal will understandably make it awkward.

I am very sad, the members all love the show and expressed they desire to keep going. For most of them, this was their biggest entertainment break. Poor Jongmin specially.

OMG! TMOPB FANS, I just read an article today. It says that the 3rd official book is finally going to be adapted. The 3rd story is for MoYuan and ShaoYan (one of the ancient gods who perished after sacrificing herself).
Those 3 ancients gods as you know are DongHua, MoYuan and this ShaoYan who hasn't appeared yet in any of the series.
Now we know the reason why MoYuan has a soft spot for BaiQian because she looks like ShaoYan. Therefore, IT IS NOW RUMORED THAT MARK AND YANG MI WILL ALSO STAR IN THIS NEW SERIES! And of course Vengo Gao's DongHua will also come back as he is one of the main sidecharacter in this story.
I'm super excited now and there is no other best way for YangMi and Mark to reunite but in this series!! ❤❤❤

I have seen many other dramas after this but nothing surpassed it so far.
Look at how strong the ratings are, and to think this didn't even have a simultaneously release in Netflix back then.

Am I the only one who notice her fingers? I guess it because I also have the same thumbs😅.
She also has BDD (brachydactyly type D)/ clubbed digits. Usually it's only the thumbs, but looking at her, it seems on her left hand all her fingers and thumb are clubbed.
I'm glad she's not insecure about it and was willing to do a lot of close up with her hands.
Amazing performance she has in My Name!

Choi Mujin's character is very interesting, I have to commend Park HeeSoon (the actor) for such an amazing job. He only has a few scenes where we get to see his pov and show emotions, and yet somehow it humanised him. I know he is the bad guy being a gang leader/drug lord and all (knowing what he did) but I still find myself trying to look from his perspective. He's a fiercely loyal character which makes any kind of betrayal sting even more. In his own way, he also did care about Jinwoo.
I'm glad his character was not cartoonishly evil and flat.

Those few flashbacks with him, Donghoon and Taejoo could actually make a good storyline. They look like a pretty good bromance combination, the tough Moojin, comical Donghoon and aloof Taejoo. They could make a prequel about the rise to power of the gang. If only we didn't know it's all gonna end in tragedy. :(

Okay since I read the webtoon why do I feel like AHS doesn’t suit the role. I love AHS but this role is I don’t…
Yes. As a fan of the webtoon, I was also disappointed with the casting. Nothing against AHS, but he really doesn't fit how TaeMu was depicted in the manhwa.
Let's just hope we'll be pleasantly surprised. But this really did dampen my excitement for this adaptation.
