Well, judging the situation, even if there’s love or triangle, Vincenzo will be the clear winner.Yes both are…
I agree, it's funny how automatically bias people are with Vincenzo just because he is the 'protagonist'. In fact if we lay all the cards down, Junwoo is basically a harmless fly compared to Vincenzo. It's not like Vincenzo hasn't also killed innocents and destroyed lives thru their illegal business as Italian mafia. I'm not saying this to defend Junwoo, but more like to be objective. We should not get too attached even with Vincenzo because if this series suddenly decide to be morally upright in the end, it might not be a 'happy' ending for him. For me I will just enjoy if this really turned into a love triangle, I am looking forward to how far both men will go and on how crazy and unapologetic their actions will be.
I now doubt if Jang Jun Woo actually liked the FL or not. I don't think he liked her. Or maybe yess?
I'm also thinking about this. If his motivation is just to keep her in check and spy on her and her Dad, he didn't have to go thru all this trouble and even fake a personality. He could have just ask her to be fired if he thinks she might side with her Dad. I think he really likes her (maybe there's a backstory where he met her and developed a crush on her). He knows the Babel case might get messy so he tries to distance her from it, yet at the same time he wants to be close to her so instead of firing her he pretended to be an intern.
I'm a bit ashamed to admit that because I have a thing for antiheros/bad guys who only have a soft spot for the FL, I already see myself getting torn between Vincenzo and Junwoo (if he really does have feelings for FL, which I think he does). Usually I hate love triangles but given both guys are 'evil' and the FL is also quite unique, I think it's interesting and I hope the director gives it to us.
Yes, it was the lawyer. I think Taec lingers around Cha-young cos he liked her, or simply cos he wanted to keep…
yes, I also just remember that TaecYeon wants FL to drop the case so somehow I feel he's trying to protect her too? It's like being in a love triangle with 2 devils who both have no scruples in doing evil stuff to get their way. That certainly hasn't been done often in other series, so hopefully this one will be interesting.
If I get this correctly, TaecYeon didn't order FL's dad murder, right? It was the Dancing Lawyer's order. I really wonder why TaecYeon finds it necessary to act and stick like that to the FL.
I cannot seem to find JunWoo's motivation for sticking to Chae Young like that though. It doesn't seem to make sense to go thru the trouble. Would be interesting if he actually genuinely likes her.
I almost dropped this after Ep3 because of the forced comedy, annoying FL and overall scattered and slow pacing. BUT THANK GOODNESS EP4 CHANGED MY MIND! Looking forward to next week.
The execution and logic of the actions scenes are so ridiculous, I can't help but wonder if the writer did that on purpose to troll the viewers. Or they are going after black comedy effect. And on top of that add the dramatic OST that doesn't match the scenes at all. LOL I'm kinda invested with the weirdness and mystery though, so I will continue to watch and see where this mess leads.
And surprising, Park Shin Hye has more chemistry with Jo Seung Woo than with Lee MinHo or the rest of the other actors paired with her. And for some reason my brain keeps confusing ML with Le JeHoon.
Episode 2 in and I'm getting mixed feeling. It's a bit so-so. I know we all like JoongKi's cool scene being bad-ass and all, and then next moment they insert scenes which I feel are pointless(doesn't help the plot nor his characterisation).
Additionally, they are lawyers but WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR THEM TO INVALIDATE A CONTRACT ENTERED UNDER CLEAR DURESS? The victim and his family can all testify that they are held at gunpoint.
So is this the same single father Gun in the original series? I'm sorry but that character seems a bit soft and too cheesy, unlike the many other roles that Mik played. I wonder it they will stay consistent with how he was written in the first story.
I have seen this while it was airing and has been also actively commenting and discussing with the other viewers in this page back then. What a ride that has been! I still see myself coming back here from time to time and thinking how topnotch this series is. It will surely always be on the top list and will stand the test of time. I wish I can forget and watch and experience all the emotions , mystery and thrill all over again!
wait there is some character development right now she is working for the riches so her goal is $$$$ so is Vincenzo…
Me too! More than any loveline I'm looking forward to Vincenzo's chemistry with the tenants. It's an unlikely match, these weird wacky tenants and the enigmatic mafia guy as their defacto leader/champion haha
the character lived there for 5 years, so it's fine if his Italian is not that great, he is not supposed to sound…
From what I gather he actually lived there since he's 8. Basically Italian is his native or like his default language, hence he switch to it whenever he gets agitated. So yeah, we can't expect JoongKi to perfect it but atleast not completely horrible as in other series.
He lernt it , I guess the dialogue he must speak sin the drama .That one os more easiera than learning the language…
Yes, I know of course he learnt only his specific lines and not the whole language. I was referring to the accent and pronunciation, if it is good enough. Thre are so many other series where they butcher even a single line of English and hardly care about it. But in Vincenzo it seems vital for the character to have convincing dialogue skill atleast.

Btw, FL seems annoying and doesn't seem to match at all with Vincenzo. But still looking forward how this will develop.

It sounds pretty good and convincing to me, but then I don't speak Italian haha
