That scene where Seojun was singing seemed familiar.
It reminded me of Mary stayed out all Night. He does sound so much like Jang Geun Suk when singing,

I think the reason she gets some hate comments is because compared to other Korean actress she really has this cold/ resting bitch face aura. (btw, my personal opinion you do not have to agree). Plus she took on some bad roles and she's tbh robotic on some series. This kinda gives some subconscious feeling that she has an unfair advantage just by being pretty but is actually talentless. That probably sounds illogical but atleast for me that is how I see her.
Nevertheless, I will still try some of her other shows and maybe she'll grow on me.

Just visiting his page again after binge-watching fan made videos of his shows on Youtube.
JoonGi for me is the best Korean actor, he surely captivates his audience with every project he does.
It really amazes me how versatile and amazing his acting is, and what's even more amazing is how he can get into character without much effort.
You know all these Hollywood actors who go into so much dramatic training and use method acting and how they get so deep into the character that it affects their mental health bla bla.
JoonGi is the complete opposite, I get really baffled watching his behind the scenes. How can he be so in character and the next second (as soon as the director says CUT) he's just back into his usual bubbly cute self bouncing around the set. He's truly the best!

I'm so proud seeing that 9.1 rating altho I believe it deserves still a higher rating.
Btw, JoongGi is watching fan made videos of FoE on YT, he shares them sometimes in his IG stories.

I hope he visits variety shows.
And I also hope he soon graduates highschool and finally get the girl.

I'm glad Kim SeonHo rejected this as tbh the story feels weak, he already has good momentum so he needs to choose his next project VERY carefully. The screenwriter's other works are also not that impressive.

and for LEE JOONGGI, how dare the casting director make him the second choice. YOU DO NOT OFFER LEFT-OVERS TO ACTORS ON LJG's CALIBER.haha He's a smart guy and also very picky with his projects. For sure after his last masterpiece FLOWER of EVIL he will not just randomly pick projects just for the sake being constantly on tv.

This series is like watching Flower of Evil cast in alternate universe haha
Hwang In Yeob looks so much like JoongGi and Cha Eunwoo is basically a doppelganger of KimJiHoon when he was younger. lol

I initially dropped it after first episode because I find it too childish and I hated JuGyeong's highpitch voice. But after a few weeks I picked it up again and now I'm seriously enjoying all the LOL moments.
To be honest the comment section here is atleast still not as toxic as it was in the Start-Up.
We can all always love and ship one character without hating the other. Both boys deserve the love.

Yes. I also think there is a good chance it's a happy ending. I agree on the points you mentioned, about the disclaimer at the start of each episodes and also the parallel world theory.
Additionally, the history from centuries ago are mainly only thru written documents which can be easily falsified or deliberately written incorrectly.
It could be that they would fake Cheoljong's death and somehow escape the palace and find their own happy ending.
Or alternatively, they could meet in the future where Cheoljong is reincarnated as a girl. But I would really prefer their ending is in Joseon.

I thought the actor for King Cheoljong is short as he looks tiny next to his Brother and Queen's cousin. I googled him and he's actually also tall at 183cm, the other 2 actors must really be so tall.

Commenting again after seeing his performance in Sweet Home. I don't why but I feel so proud of him. He's making all the right career moves. He's already making a mark in the industry and showed his range and versatility as an actor. I'm so happy he wasn't typecasted into a single image, also glad he's steered clear from flowerboy roles and taken seriously as a matured artists.
Yet at the same time he still feels relatable, humble and kept that warm and positive aura.
Keep going DoHyun! Just a bit more to further solidify your place in the industry and then you can go to the military and you will still have people waiting for your comeback.

I love Xianxias too!!..admittedly I found them weird in the beginning but later on when I got used to the ' chinese mythology' (or however you call it) I really get invested on the stories. :)

Yep. I'm hoping to connect to the story soon too and also see SiFeng that way. I'm in episode 4 now and seeing how it builds up :)

LOL That is your interpretation of what went down on TMOPB which is not shared by everyone.
Don't go bashing YeHua just to promote SiFeng. Or else it might discourage potential viewers as we might subconsciously create bias arguments in our head to defend why our initial favorites (YeHua and XuFeng) are better than SiFeng. Same as you are being protective of the character now. It will ruin the experience for us.

I have mentioned that in my mind YeHua and XuFeng are still superior with full disclosure that I am still on the early stage of this drama, but I am not in any way saying I might not love SiFeng more once I get connected to the story.
There are better ways to hype SiFeng than picking on YeHua.

Can somebody tell me (without spoilers) if this whole airhead character of the FL is just a phase?
Like JinMi in Ashes of Love where she actually became mature and sensible, will there be a character development with XuanJi as well?

Okay, I'm on episode 3 now and not yet hooked but hoping I will be soon since this is recommended for those who likes TMOPB and AOL (which are my absolute favorite C-dramas).
Btw, the dubbing voice sounds too familiar. It's FengJiu and Dijun's voice, isn't it?

ML is cute (but YeHua and XuFeng are still superior LOL) but I must admit for FL she isn't as charming/attractive as YangZi, YangMi or Dilraba. But I really hope I feel connected to these characters soon.
TMOPB took 13episodes before it finally hooked me, so I'm not giving up on this yet and hopefully it really won't disappoint.
I get hyped just by reading the comments in this page and I really miss my Chinese blood spitting Xianxias haha
