well NDM sucked as a character with no real growth. Why can't people bash him? Its just a fictional character.
LOL You're the one who miss the point. I already said I respect your pov although I do not share them. Are you expecting me to agree just because you listed reasons? Can't you respect others opinion too? lol Even Kim SeonHo the actor do not share your sentiments and spoke highly of Dosan's character. What I'm speaking against are those who demonize the actor and bashes the character without reasoning and on toxic levels. Now if you say you have your reasons then no need to get worked up by what I say!
as a fan of DBSK it saddens me to see how low Yoochun has fallen. He was one of the most promising Idol turned Actor and now it all turned to dust. I'm not defending him against any accusations, maybe it's true and he really does deserve it. But it's just really sad how it all turned out for him.
Looking at Sungkyungkwan Scandal, he lead next to ParkMinyoung, and had Song Joongki and YooAhIn as lesser characters. And look at today, those 3 have soaring careers and respected in the industry while he is disgraced. Really sad how things can turn in a blink.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If this is your basis for sucking then I respect that. I personally think otherwise and the examples you mentioned still doesn't justify me to label DoSan as someone who deserves hate. However, I'm not gonna argue on each point you mentioned, I'm not a DoSan defender. These are fictional characters where I do not really hold such high feelings for. As mentioned, what I'm against are below the belt comments on the character, attacks against the actor, his physical appearance, etc and just pure trash talk without context and reasoning, or even attack on other viewer who holds a different opinion. That I think is ridiculous and problematic. People who go outside the premise of the drama and carelessly write whatever they want. True, it is everyone's freedom to do so. However, feedback and criticism with tact makes a more persuasive argument than pure trashtalk.

And actually I personally do not ship DoDal. It's not about the endgame for me. It's about the toxic comments directed to DoSan just because he got the better ending. The boy was harmless all throughout the series. He was mediocre compared to JipYeong but he didn't do anything hateful. Even in real life I don't say average/mediocre people suck just because they got a better deal than another person who I feel deserved it more. And again these are only fictional character, but the reactions and hate comments are exaggerated for me.

As you've mentioned he's a fictional character. I don't get all the anger to the point that some fans even personally attack NamJooHyuk the actor. It's a free comment section and we can all criticize, by all means then continue your bashing. But don't get worked up when people also find some comments exaggerated and ridiculous.
Kim SeonHo did an amazing job with Han JipYeong so it's understandable a lot of viewers are attached to him. However, I do hope they stop bashing NamDoSan's character. The intensity of the comments are sometimes ridiculous. Please just watch and support SeonHo in 2d1n and see him laughing and happy there, it will definitely dissolve some of the negative vibes you got from this series. I personally enjoyed Start-Up and I do not see the hate on the ending as a reason to give it a low rating.
i would rather see kim seon ho wasting his time by looking into vacuum than see him being part of anything related…
Yes.. also my favorite writer / director. I saw the new project he has and not very excited with who the writer is. I didn't like the previous works. With the Reply/Playlist writer style though is usually one with a big cast and normally not focused on a single character.
I'm team DoSan but I do hope the writer writes SEASON 2 FOR JIPYEONG! I mean it's completely easy to pick up from…
hahaha you guys are funny. I just threw the idea so that the character may have a closure or happy ending. Just watch him in 2d1n if you want to always see him happy. Haha
I'm team DoSan but I do hope the writer writes SEASON 2 FOR JIPYEONG! I mean it's completely easy to pick up from where this series end. Everyone loves JipYeong not because of the pairing with Dalmi but because of his character. They won't even have to recast the rest of the actors. JipYeong can start his own company or travel abroad and meet someone etc.
I didn't understand the whole point of the 'act' that Yeon and Rang did. The one where they exchanged faces and…
still not clear.
'So Lee Rang being indebted to the CEO cannot scheme to harm his creditor/savior.' He and his brother already did schemed with that coffee scene.
'Also, Lee Yeon cannot be the one taking the drug as needs to be the one stabbing the CEO in close proximity...' Rang pretending to be Yeon did not take the drug either. He just pretended to faint.
What I'm saying is, Yeon can at anytime go after that CEO (he already did torture him some episodes back), it's not like CEO and Imoogi are always together. And definitely they do not need that whole act to get close to him (CEO) to strangle and threaten his life. Therefore I find the whole switching faces and coffee scene unecessary.

yes. I get the concept of debt. But why do they have to do the whole act and exchange face? After they cleared the misunderstanding, basically Yeon can just go after the CEO and threaten his life. And then CEO will plead for Rang to save him. Therefore it's the same result.
I'm catching up and now on ep11. I am really confused with the coffee scene. I wrote my question in the spoiler…
I didn't understand the whole point of the 'act' that Yeon and Rang did. The one where they exchanged faces and drank coffee. So if all it takes is to blackmail the CEO with his life, why didn't they do this a long time ago? They didn't even have to do the whole act. Yeon can just threaten the CEO to release the 'bond' with Rang. Somebody enlighten me pls?

So please Writer-nim and Director-nim, be careful how you write this one.
I'm personally not so invested on who Dalmi ends up with. I just like the characters individually.
