Yes, they actually managed somehow to wrap most of the plots - with a lot of shortcuts but still it was better then last 10 episodes... I wouldn't say she is abandoning her position - she didn't quit officially she has left everything sorted out and she can be summoned if something important will show up... She also knows that Beimo won't attack for at least few years... It would be much better to see some cottage house near the river and her living there with CYQ ;) but we can use our imagination and end up the story up to our own liking ;)
