A thing that I won't ever understand is why tf in korean dramas parents are always so obsessed with their kids…
I forgotten to say this, but I really really love their ost' choice. Especially the ending ost! I don't know who's singing, but they surely do have a beautiful voice!
A thing that I won't ever understand is why tf in korean dramas parents are always so obsessed with their kids to be the best at school even at the cost of sacrificing their health and happiness. Is it really like this in real life too? Why would even you do such a thing to your own child? And the school's corruption... I wish I could say that it's not realistic at all, but hell I heard and saw too much to believe that. So yep it's probabily exaggerated, but it's still a thing.
I just wish they could leave more screentime to our leads because I'm loving seeing their interactions and I can't wait to learn more about Seung Yoo. Also their love for math is just so... pure, in a way that makes me want to cry. I would love if they showed mathematics theorems a little more in depths, but I understand that this drama has to be approachable even for those who aren't experts. Anyway, Lee Do Hyun and Im Soo Jung are amazing as always in portrait their roles and I'm enjoying this very much!
For the romance between the leads I believe it will happen after the four years break mentioned in the summary and thus four years after teacher Yoon Soo was accused (falsely I hope) of having a sexual relationship with Seung Yoo (like we saw at the beginning of episode 1). So at that point they will both be adults and I don't think they will be teacher and student again because it's likely that Seung Yoo will have already graduated from university (it seems he's in the last year of high school right now). If things go as I think, I have no problem at all with their relationship and I'll enjoy this drama very much!
The school's sistem sucks, but an university that integrates math with liberal art? A dream.
Also as a math major I'm so envious of our FL, she seems to genuinely love math. I hope this drama will help me to find my love for math again, because right now I ended up hating what I'm studying and it honestly hurts.
It's been three years since I watched this and I'm still salty about YingLuo and FuHeng not ending up together (yeah I know it would have been impossible for the story to end like that but still). Do I hate the Emperor? No. Do I think that YingLuo didn't lived happily after marring him? Neither. Do I still believe FuHeng would have been a better match for YingLuo and that she truly loved him? Yes. And I hate the fact that I could only dream about them as a real couple.
I want to like this drama so bad, because I love the leads and the plot really seems intriguing, but for some reasons I really can't get immersed in the story... I will give it another chance and watch also episode 3, if I won't enjoy it I will drop the drama. Maybe it just isn't for me...
The production quality is not that great, but I enjoyed the first episode. It was pretty fast paced and I liked…
Also idk what's going on with the directing but the contrast between the funny and dramatic scenes is a bit too pronounced, so it's distracting me a bit. But anyway it's not that bad, just hope it will be become better!

For ep 7 preview. Is it possible to have a wild fire during winter(curious cos where I’m from we have no four…
It's possibile if you had some days of dry weather. Like, if it hasn't rained or snowed for a week or so and it has been sunny or windy, it's totally possible to have a wild fire because there would be a lot of dry leaves and dry wood on the ground.
Ep 6 was somewhat like a filler, but I actually liked our first love guy Cheol Kyeong. It would have been great if he and Yi Kang were together from the start. Still thinking that Yi Kang and Hyun Jo's relationships needs a little more deep?? Idk the actors are exceptional, but they're not really believable as sunbae & hoobae for some reasons lmao. Also the editing seems a little weird, but I really can't pinpoint why. Anyway the drama is pretty good until now~
Well there is a little hint about it but drama is more focused on thriller mystry and action.start is enough to…
Mhh let's see... Okay I didn't watch all of them (cause some are on my plan-to-watch list) but I can think of these for now (the last three are more comedy-thriller, but still): - Flower of Evil - The crowned clown - Someday or one day - 100-nanen no onna-tachi - The Devil Judge - Live - The K2 - Hotel del Luna - Cheat on me, if you can - When the camellia blooms - Suspicious partner
These are cool too, but there's very little romance: - Designated Survivor - My Name - Jirisan (for now at least) - Chimera (same for this)

No, this is actually great for me! I actually like thriller drama better when there's little or no romance involved, so if this is the case I may give this drama a try. Thank you so much for answering!
Watching episode 2 and I feel like in the past Pran definitely had (and probably still has) a crush on Pat, while now it's Pat that is shamelessly flirting with him just for the fun like my boy has no filter whatsoever lmao
