The FL in this one did not know of the existence of a child upfront, which would say a lot about ML's character, considering she came out of a 7 year long relationship in which the guy did not communicate properly and hurt her instead

there's nothing to apologise for. in her point of view he had not mentioned that he has a child for MONTHS. it's not about having a child, it's hiding the fact that you have a child and pursuing a woman while presenting as if you are a single guy. her friend was right. what if he was married? what if he isn't a present father? what if he's trying to trick her into being a stepmother? all valid reasons she should not continue things with him. there's nothing toxic. it's a preference that she can rightfully have. if there's a child or ex wife/gf involved the best thing is to know upfront. finding out in a roundabout way is terrible

for real, imagine all the medical bills she's racked up seeing him every weekend

I've not laughed at a tv show like this in a long time omg. li landi and luo qi hyun my comedic queens!! I loved li landi in episode 6, especially how she handled the witchy colleague, which shows me that the show is not just making her the best in everything just because she's the lead. realistically an intern needs to grow. of course, her colleague could have given her proper credit when it was due. she's really the heart of the show when it comes time to reflect. I feel so bad at how sad she gets when people treat su miao differently from her.

question: can tan jian ci draw or did the makers of under the skin follow him here? why do I keep getting the feeling like he's going to investigate a murder using a painting all of a sudden lol. tang qi needs to tone down. his obsession with su miao is a bit much. if the bgm was changed he would be a creep

finally a romcom that is actually funny. the second hand embarrassment I can't! TJC's hairstylist deserves a raise. the last modern dramas I've seen him did not do him any favours lol

the only thing that's keeping su yu from being fully annoying to me is that I still remember him as "biao ge" from the double lol

he's also doing that because he's enjoying the attention XRR gives him because he's not sure MQG loved him and not Su Yu in the past. so that's why he wanted to 'indulge himself' before she regains her memories even if the ice lotus technique kills him

it's an okay drama. the performances are good, the FL is not annoying (although a little naive) but she's not a damsel in distress either and actually has cool fight scenes without her shifu. I prefer when she used to be the shifu so I hope that part of her will come back. Deng wei is obviously gorgeous but the jealousy is starting to become tiring, and the typical 'can't fall in love or I will die' and noble idiocy trope is present. A LOT of misunderstandings, good god. also an annoying SML and FL sister. the fight scenes are cool. I would say it's good for binging but would be frustrating for a daily watch
