I'm happy to see that winwin is a good actor. he was kept in the dungeon in sk for so long I thought he was going to disappear. he really looks adult in this role and actually pulls off the arrogant young master as well as the micro expressions that show he lowkey likes his wife as well as his new mother-in-law. so glad he's thriving in this role and acting in general. he's all grown up which is nuts because I'm around the same age as him. I hope he continues dancing though, I watched the video of him dancing to billie eilish a million times. would be a shame if he doesn't

I was about to give up in the first 10 minutes but after finishing episode 1 I'm hooked. It's more graphic than other fantasy shows which is unexpected. First time I'm liking a flashback more than the current time because FL is more interesting as a shifu. The shifu disciple trope is better here because we have a carefree shifu and serious disciple, plus there is no obvious age gap so it's not a distraction, thank heavens. Deng Wei is gorgeous and his outfits are fire, I expected him to be more like Xiao Lin but he's a Tantai Jin here haha. Also, the blood of youth cast reunion!

I'd recommend Destined. Same lead from New Life Begins and also has a husband who needs to grow up. His family goes through ups and downs because of war but FL is smart in business. The romance is great to watch as well, though the last arc had too much politics so I didn't finish lol
