I hesitated to watch this drama because of its open ending, and season 2 doesn't seem to be happening. It's too…
yea, it seems unlikely that season 2 is happening due to plagiarism issues. i watched not knowing it covers just half of the full novel and those issues. But no regrets watching it. Actually, I'm more curious of the final ending for the second ML than the first ML, as besides more character growth and thus more attachment to the second ML, he also has a more complex character and thus it is less predictable on how his story will develop. Li Qin's role in Joy Of Life is 1-dimensional and more like a support role. Maybe her role in subsequent seasons of JOL will be more substantial. I have yet to watch The Wolf as i couldnt find it on Netflix nor YouTube :(
Storyline felt slow, under-developed and then rushed towards the end. Wish they explored the characters a bit…
You may want to try The Last Breakthrough (2004). Also a TVB anniversary drama on medical professional volunteering as docs without borders, and see Kenneth Ma in his inaugural doc role, and as a pediatric doc as well, 17 years ago. The drama is available on TVB channel on YouTube.
I've heard so much abt this drama but kept putting it off coz it has 67 ep. Anyway, since I don't know what to…
my first drama with Zhao Li Ying as well, which i finished watching recently. i felt there wasnt much character development for her as the protagonist. The characters that impressed me are the second leads: especially Yan Xun
I even wondered if there is an objective point to not hold and to just drop a drama, so that a good drama is given enough time to draw one in, and we do not end up missing a good drama? As dramas vary by number of episodes, perhaps an objective rule of thumb could be to watch at least 20% of a drama?
Glad you completed this drama loving it! The prologue / first 2 episodes make a lot of sense now, looking back,…
Did you realise who was the mysterious old man at the graveyard in episode 2? :) Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng differ in their configuration (格局) and three fundamental views (三观) i.e. world view (世界观), values of worth (价值观) and philosophy on life (人生观). Wei Ying is for the world, while Jiang Cheng is only for the Jiang Clan, thus the eventual parting of ways even though they grew up together and both deeply still cared for each other and wished each other well, which is really such a pity.. sigh
This drama was hard to get into and pretty confusing initially, however, by the end of it, I loved the characters,…
Glad you completed this drama loving it! The prologue / first 2 episodes make a lot of sense now, looking back, right? :) I find JC the most tragic character - he lost his parents in a single day, and then his siblings in another single day, and finally parted ways with WY, with WY not knowing he was caught and lost his GC when he drew the Wen folks away from WY
Netflix travel reality x concept of bike touring around S Korea with two hosts sounds great and cool but the execution-editing is bad... really really really bad. Time is better spent watching Twogether, another Netflix travel reality.
Introduced to this drama via the voting list (Old but Gold: Must Watch Dramas Aired in 2013 and Before https://kisskh.at/list/LAlaOn21).. Did i miss it or it was left untouched how Director Jung spotted Sam Dong?
