That face he made when he said ‘kill me now’ was so deliciously unhinged. Such a good performance. I think part of it is his age — that 19‑to‑mid‑20s range has a kind of raw, youthful energy. That's why I think actors (male and esp. female) if they can play these kinds of roles before 30, it's comes across with more energy.
She's actually very good at voice acting, I loved her own dubbing in Moonlit Reunion where she had a very sensual…
she has both talent and training to do it at this level. she's so good using her voice. See this is why using her own voice is such a big advantage to bring out her character.
Tian Xiwei’s voice became much more powerful in the war scenes — just like a warrior. Not exactly masculine, but commanding, and even the tone itself sounded completely different. It changed so much that I actually thought she was dubbed just for those scenes, because in the rest of the drama I can clearly recognize her usual voice. But the credits say it’s all her own voice.
I'm on episode 29, and the whole time she keeps saying she wants to return to her village. I kept thinking, there’s no way—why would you believe your village is safe? How could she imagine she could separate her life from the war? It just didn’t make sense to me. I assumed she would eventually realize the truth, since I already know she ends up going to war. She keeps insisting she doesn’t want to kill anyone, because it reminds her of others killing the people she loves. But if you don’t stop your enemy, they’ll destroy you. Even if she refuses to fight, the war is still coming for her. Naturally, she does figure all of this out.
I am very upset regarding one fact. Our main couples chemistry is being wasted a lot. After the gua sha scene…
I think the director wants contrast — the sweet ‘green flag’ couple vs. the darker ‘red flag’ couple — to appeal to a wider audience. I've noticed that there’s a really big audience out there for the ‘red’ type of relationships too, so maybe that’s why the second couple gets so much focus. They probably think the red‑flag stuff is trendy.

She clearly has both natural talent and solid training in her voice work. Using her own voice is a big advantage because she understands her character on a deeper level than the voice actor.

yeah, sometimes it doesn't show it, but in this case, it does, but MDL also has the complete listing under Cast and Crew. ZLH used his own voice in SOKP.
See this is why using her own voice is such a big advantage to bring out her character.
