Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
She’s so innocent. She says, “Who would want to harm me?” But she’s just killed an important general, Sui Yuanqing is still alive, and there are people hungry for revenge. Now they’ve discovered the Marquis’s greatest weakness is her.

the subs... are not that good 🙄 sometimes I'm like: They definitely didn't say this lol
It’s my first time watching a Chinese drama on Netflix, and I’ve noticed the translations the meaning is technically correct, but the tone lands way too modern. I know I shouldn’t complain since I get Netflix for free, but that line really stood out to me.

The phrase “I have things to do, do not look for me” didn't hit right for me for a historical drama.

Emotion welled across Grand Tutor Tao Yi’s face, his eyes turning misty as the old man looked perilously close to tears.

“It’s funny because she says, ‘This isn’t a storybook; sparrows don’t turn into phoenixes,’ even though she herself is the storybook—the sparrow who’s going to turn into a phoenix.

I just started episode 28, and it seems like the show always opens with humor. One guy is sewing a shoe for a girl, while the other is forging steel to make a sword—going so far as to bind the blade with his own blood. The contrast is hilarious.

For lord sake pls show us why he is called marquis of wuan this mf is not leaving bed since the beginning people…
he was seriously injured to begin with, but he became attached to her, so I think he was also pretending over time, to stay hidden from enemies, to protect village, and also, he can stay close to her. Each time he is injured, the longer he is, she takes care of him, and also, he got a private tent that way. So, I think he's not really that weak.

It didn’t pass censorship?!!😂 but they let so many other things pass with the other couple 😩 I wonder…
I didn't' think they allow it but this drama actually showed a manual on different sex positions; you can even see the illustrations when she flips through it. What makes it hilarious is that the story is so innocent, then up pops a sex manual.

Watch it the way you’d read a children’s tall tale — it’s make‑believe, not real. It may be grounded in the ordinary world, but everything is stretched to absurd extremes on purpose. It’s meant purely for entertainment, so don’t take anything in the story seriously. The drama leans mostly toward a comedic tone. The battle scene felt like watching one of those animated action games — flashy, exaggerated, and very entertaining. The scenes are designed to hook you in.

POJ fans! Who are your top 3 favourite characters on the show right now? My fave characters so far:1) Changyu2)…
The actor who plays Sui Yuanqing really stands out to me—his performance is impressive given he was only 19 when they filmed it. That natural, youthful energy just comes through and fits the character perfectly. He makes you genuinely despise and loathe his character, and when others slap or kick him, you almost feel like he deserves it because he plays the role so convincingly.

you don't have to turn your brain off; this drama is not serious, so just enjoy the humor. Comedy doesn't have to be logical.

"Her strength never runs out, laughing and smiling all day long" FL sounds just like Tian Xi Wei in real life based on what I learned about her from her last drama, she had more energy, can't keep up with her

The general who can fight off 10,000 men was slain by a female soldier with a butcher's knife with just two blows.
in ep 27, according to the old man (ML's master), she has exceptional bones, a rare prodigy in martial arts, and he said she's 19 so she's still 19 in ep 27. I feel like he's the one who will reconcile them.
