XK has eight projects: SAF6, BCE, ABAY, MR, 800, SOTB, FI, and Strange Tang Cases. He would have had one more, but he’s in a transition period and is currently not filming. He really doesn't need to do more than two dramas a year anymore and may be more selective now. His past interviews, since 2024, he has made it known he's slowing down from his old pace. It's really the mark of an established actor who is in different phase of his career, as opposed to a rising actor or an actor who has finally made a breakthrough so they take as many projects as they can. Xu Kai has been there, done that, working back-to-back, non-stop, for so many years.
LXY has IB, WI, KMLM, AMBF, LNF, TPG, ATC, ST (13 episodes crime thriller) plus a minor guest role in FCY, and a supporting role in Blood of Youth S2 (which I don’t think has started filming yet). He also just wrapped Wei Dynasty with Yang Mi. So even though it looks like he has more, Xu Kai doesn’t take guest or supporting roles in 3ML. If we exclude those, LXY has nine, but Xu Kai would also have nine by now if he weren’t taking time off. LXY is in a really good phase of his career too. He's working hard.

This was completely random — I just happened to catch Lisa Su’s (CEO, AMD) commencement speech for MIT’s Class of 2026 on my YT feed, and it made me think of Han Ting’s lifelong mission to bring AI into healthcare.

This must be a very special project for them to take so long to release it. After nearly two years, they still tweaking it. It's a bit worrisome like was there a problem in filming? Did the typhoon affect some of the earlier episodes because they don't' always film in sequence. I think they did wrap like a week or two after the typhoon hit.
Unnatural Fire (2025, 38 episodes) took only 13 months from wrapped date 2/7/24 to airing 3/13/25 but FI is approaching two years in Sep.
I went through the novel—enough to grasp the whole story. I do hope the drama turns out more exciting, but the synopsis is pretty simple too. The title Spring of the Blade is definitely more intriguing than A Cup of Love or A Cup of Spring.
Watching this special video gives me hope. The visuals are stunning—meticulous details, rich atmosphere, and those intense moments and action scenes that the novel never had.
