oh guys, have you noticed those "flowers" that you can give to your favourites to boost their profiles or popularity or whatever and I have literally ONE flower and debating who to give it to :D. Tan Jianci or Chen Zhe Yuan? (I would give it to Xiao Zhan but he already has like 138 or something :D)

none so far but if they don´t do SPL justice, they´ll see how pathetic and dramatic I can be :D. agh that is so cool though! it does seem like a fairly hard language, so respect that you have mastered it!

right? like I think it´s not rosy anywhere but from my experience whatever fandom we are taking in consideration (tv shows, music etc.) when it´s small you can disagree with someone and have a discussion, maybe some feathers are ruffled, but people know the line and are just happy to have a chat even though they have their own opinions. nothing wrong about that.

also at least someone actually reads and reacts to your comment and it doesn´t get buried in 100 new comments :D.

ohhh nice, where are you watching it? I have heard the brothers are cool but the main female leads not so much? is it worth watching? I have watched Twisted Fate of Love for Jianci, made it to epi 9, but the drama is unnecessary long (46 epis) so I skipped them and watched the last episode. his role is to be one of the mains but he is not in it that much, though second lead syndrome at its best :D. He was so nice in it!!! his role wasn´t to challenging though. he looked lovely as a prince :).

I dunno, I always like a smaller fandom where people are chill and it´s easy to talk. at least we won´t fight each other and get dramatic. but yeah I also wish the boys will get popular enough to get better roles, better projects for themselves.

I could understand during the shooting that they would like to keep it lowkey but wow if that´s a good sign here we go! it just seems like someone is trying to kill the danmei fans with a heart attack, one day it´s Immortality, the other it´s Winner is King then it´s back to Immortality :D. just waiting for those dramas is dramatic itself :D

I have started reading Heaven Official´s Blessing because I was recommended the manhua version and it is SO BEAUTIFUL, but man let me tell you I just adore Lian´s personality like he is "oops sorry I have destroyed your palace and almost killed you with a clock ... my bad ... I guess" and I can imagine him saying it and it´s cuuuteee (maybe in my head :D). sorry for invading those comments, I guess this is my first but not last comment :D.

your optimism is infectious. I´ll believe in that too, if I am made to wait for almost another year, it better be good or I´ll learn Chinese to write Tencent a handwritten letter of how much I hate them for ruining one of the best books (and especially characters ever written) and also one to Tan Jianci to ask him to marry me but I´ll need to practice calligraphy for five hours a day so to make it pretty.

yeah I mean, maybe the original creator of this page thought it´s a BL adaptation? I can completely understand how it can be misleading for people coming to this page which is a shame because then people might get angry that they were baited etc. but who knows maybe they will get some flirting into it and it will be more gay than one would imagine but I feel like it´s unfair to the author herself who has stated it´s not a BL story (she had apparently written other BL stories!) and that decision should be respected too? I mean of course it´s fine to create fanfics etc. but some things are canon and they should be kept that way? maybe I´m too strict that way, but I just feel a bit itchy about it.

Faraway Wanderers and Word of honor are similar in characters names and that's about it. The drama is relatively different from the book. I fear for WIK because it is not wuxia, it is about war and politics and not as romance heavy and if they will go by father-son relationship I fear they will not dare to get any flirting involved. But we'll see. I know I will watch Immortality anyway because the costumes and actors look awesome.

The book is not a bl novel so the drama I guess won't be either or is it suggestive to you that two men are friends? Because I think very often it is us who are imagining things. Some dramas do sneak some tension, flirting etc, but I often see people shipping characters just because they want everything to be bl. I do like me some good boys in love, but not everything has to be about that

I would really prefer if SPL aired first, simply because I can´t wait. I don´t think airing it later will help anything. People who are excited for the drama now, will be excited for it. People who are excited for Immortality, will be excited only for that and wait for Eternal Faith.
SPL is not as popular as 2HA and not because one overshadows another in the aspect of timing. I think the novel came out in 2015 and in 2016 the translations were made. It is just a style of novel and the story it is. I think even the dramas are gonna reflect that.

I am just sulky because it seems Immortality is really going to air and we are just gong to have to wait forever.
