Because of the raving reviews I started this drama and just after 20 min I had to drop it. Even though I read the synopsis on this site and on iqiy so many times I didn't get what was going on, so many names and the plot with the political intrigens seems quite complex. I really like Bai Lu, one day I will try to watch it again🙈

This is one of the big flaws of MDL: you can rate and review even before the drama ends. Wish MDL would take care more of this problem and fake accounts. Nevertheless this comment section is more intriguing than the drama itself ☝️🍿
What's wrong with the comment section? It doesn't match at all with the raving reviews. I also didn't like this drama, apart from the promising beginning and the FLs clothes everything was awful... too cheezy, no chemistry between leads and awful beauty filter. And on top of that bad acting. Just finished it because I hate dropping dramas. But never expected so much dislike. I remember months ago people were gushing over this series.
I am shocked how stupid those students are. Should we really believe those are 19 years old young adults? On top of that in a country which is known for their strict school system? They are behaving like a bunch of dumb 13 years old teens. Making facing infront of soldiers? Training in school uniforms, playing with weapons and whining about makeup? Wtf This is the f*cking army. I teach 18 years old students in Europe and they are way more mature. Though I am a sucker for apocalypse stories I am already fed up with the first episode. Sorry but this just bad writing.
Why is the rating not raising since days?! The users here in the comment sections are always absolutely over the moon after every episode and everyone is raving over the FL and ML but still only 8.3? Is it because the heroine is actually played by an elder actress? Wish the drama would get more recognition, definitely deserved.

The pacing of this series is so well done. No unnecessary drama, no annoying second leads, no filler scenes. Kudos to the script writers. You know you did everything right when the audience is sad about the length of a drama.
This is such a unique story. I was laughing my ass off, whenever FL did one of her shenanigans, was suppressing tears, whenever she was sitting alone in front of the shrine and was swooning whenever she was with the ML. What an amazing cocktail of emotions. Seriously love it. No old recycled story, no pretty young dolls without facial expressions, no damsel in distress, no mediocre acting. Although ML is younger, he is a mature guy and a good match and seriously- am I the only one who can't get over their eye smex? xD Ahhhh the sexual tension you can feel it Asfghklgahd!! Someone is melting here hahahaha!!
It was ok, the revelation a bit crazy but the ending was kinda surprising. Giving it a solid 6.5. While the ML was convincing the FL was hardly likeable. Her unrealistic behaviour made her sometimes really unsympathetic
It's a good drama though the script writers were clearly inspired by perfect marriage revenge, the similarities are too obvious. But I love the ML; him being a nerd and a bit dorky is really adorable😍
It makes me sad that both took off their glasses... really suited them. do Koreans hate so much glasses? Are you only considered as beautiful without glasses and with double eye surgery?
Had to drop this drama because of the awful beauty filter. Seriously hate it if I can't see the pores of the actors in close up. Everything looks so articial and unrealistic. But on the same time I don't like it to not complete a drama😢 does it get better after ep 6?
I am shocked that the male lead is already 40 yrs old, thought he is around 30! It was a well done drama, though the beginning was a bit cringe the overall production- perfect story pace, superb acting and a good script - was convincing. Loved that every woman was so badass in this drama!

But her makeup was well done, loved her lipstick colour. But wished they would use less of that beauty filter... always uncomfortable if you cant see the pores of the actors in closeups.
Gosh I am so glad that I don't check MDL ratings anymore. This is a mediocre story with mediocre actors. The beauty filter and the makeup on the male face is ridiculous. Only good thing: both look good and I like their fashion style. This is letting me keep going on lmao.
