So I am at ep 13 right now and it is kinda funny to see a completely other site from him: he is so flirty with her at the wedding and she is totally clueless xD ahah can't stop grinning
So I started watching this drama just to find out if it is worth the hype. After completing the first 5 eps I think it is a sweet and innocent story about first love. I love how much they pay attention to all those little details and you can feel the blooming love. The mother is btw gorgeous and the ML reminds me whenever he smiles of taiwanese actor Joe Cheng.
Nevertheless I still can't see this drama being the best rated drama on MDL with 9.2. The story is just way too simple and nothing special... no hate. But I will proceed. Afterall there are still 20 more eps to watch and then I will draw my conclusion.
I am glad that I didn't check out MDL before watching the drama. Rated it with a decent 7.5. Didn't expect to enjoy it that much since I don't care about Instagram, influencers and so on.
But the plot was interesting enough that I binge watched the drama in one night! The chemistry between the main leads was crazy good, especially at the beginning. The amazing background music just enhanced the atmosphere throughout the drama. Unfortunately the plot got too unbelievable and crazy at the latter episodes and the ending seemed forced and with plot holes. Also the acting wasn't always convincing. Park Gyu Young, the main actress, carried almost alone the drama whereas especially lack of expression by the lawyer's wife and the ML was tiring. Also the huge amount of product placement was ridiculous and the worst point was the incorporation of Marlboro ad. Nevertheless it is a good drama with nice thriller elements. If you are curious about the world of influencers you should watch it, even just to wonder about the dumbness of some influencers and their obsessive followers who really seemed like jobless subordinates with too much free time...
Watching this drama I feel so good!! It makes me smile and snicker, it is sweet, romantic and heart warming. When it gets too cheezy the producers know how to elicit a laugh. Sarang is such a cutie and whenever Gu Won smiles I am literally melting away. Already looking forward for next weekend, it will surely lift my mood again after a hard week full of work!!
Most kdrama lovers that can get over certain weird things pertaining age gaps & children will absolutely love…
I like various types of genres and it's not the age gap which is off putting. Maybe more the lack of chemistry between the main leads? It is hard to say. But I will proceed, maybe it will get better.
I am at ep 3 and didn't know this actress before.... but the drama is really hard to watch. The story is a bit dragging and the melancholic atmosphere is way too depressing and cold. And the main pairing lacks chemistry. I am glad that I don't care that much about MDL rating because the 8.7 is really surprising. Is it because of the popularity of the actress? Maybe it will get better...
