loving it so far. the two leads are both really strong, vicious and strategic, as fitting of their characters.…
From the trailers of ep 6 and 7 it also looks like they still clash now that they have decided to cooperate, which I really appreciate. I mean, ok they are now partners but years of being on opposite sides and having different goals are not erased overnight…
I hear you. I'm rooting for Fated Hearts. While I enjoyed Shadow Love and Cheng Lei, it's missing angst and that…
From the trailer it seems like it! At least the snippets seem to be taken from different moments in the drama (so not just one big reveal moment at the end..) - and the amnesiac FL still remains incredibly badass.
I didn’t know the director - will go check what held he worked on!
I hope Fated Hearts will be the sizzling intense enemies-to-lovers drama which I hoped Shadow Love to be and it wasn’t.
PS no offense to those who liked Shadow Love, I also dipped in and out of it (especially for Cheng Lei) and did not dislike it, but I expected more tension and angst due to the main leads being on opposite sides…and didn’t deliver much on that until the end.
Why I think it made sense she said “yes” in episode 22.
I checked again the original question in Chinese and it’s 救援来迟的那个人 which means “the person who arrived late to the rescue” (来迟 = arrive late, NOT delaying the rescue). In the subtitles it’s made to be stronger. I understand though why He Yan, with her sense of loyalty, her guilt about the death of the general and the guilt for lying to Xiao Jue would reply “yes” to this question. She always takes on responsibility, even in cases where things are more gray. On top of that, as she said, Xiao Jue probably wouldn’t have listened to any explanation or would have felt that she was lying again. I think the question at its core is: were you He Rufei when my father died in battle? And the answer is sadly “yes”.
Don’t ask me why, he feels sleezy. And in the blurred vision of the FL when she falls off the cliff the face shape and hairstyle seems like him.
Hoping not, as he seems to be the only genuine friend (not subordinate) of the ML.
