The scene of her crying in front of the red rhododendron in ep26 is so precious and great expressions.

I was expecting to find SXJ boring but actually she’s growing on me (and her character is slowly getting fleshed out).

Haven’t read this novel by 墨书白 but I’ve read another and the plot/characterization is good! Hopefully they will do justice to the author.

In the original plans he wasn’t supposed to survive… WXY agency released a clip (then I think deleted) with a scene that didn’t make the cut where you see Duke Su being slashed and spitting blood from his Putu, with the pendant falling. You Zheng got super pissed and there was some upset amongst fan in China, as this proved that their initial idea for the ending was a tragic one (which imho is why I’m the last horse riding scene we don’t see Duke Su’s face or have a proper final hug between him and XFF). They also filmed the extra once they figured the drama was getting popular and fans wouldn’t have accepted a bad ending.

By the way I don’t even understand why they decided to mess up the book ending, since the author gave it a nice happy wrap…
