His company is about quantum communication, aka... communicating through time and space. I suppose the main leads will get married and she will be murdered in 2024. In 2025, he manages to contact her through the quantum communication device to try to save her.

I thought this drama was paying hommage to various dramas. The cancer scare? Wasn't it a plot in "Well intended love"?

Also, the part where, as a secretary, she ranted at her ex-boss about having learned foreign languages and all kind of stuff for her job, I had a "What's wrong with Secretary Kim" flashback.

Also, the fact that they knew each others in the past, when they were young and especially with him being older than her, and she has forgotten about him.

And now a rich man, he has hired her as his secretary and he is an ass***** to her at work? Still a "What's wrong with secretary Kim" vibe.

I wonder if there will be other hommages to other dramas.

The thing is, it's a time travel melodrama. Think about it: if the timeline is changed, then it's normal that the ML doesn't remember. It never happened. It's... almost normal with time travel.

But there's the magic of a love story. Meaning that he might very well remember, like the FL in "Queen In Huyn's man", who remembered at the end despite the timeline.

The bad writing would be if... this whole story was in a fact a scenario the FL was writing and all of this never happened. A kind of "It was all a dream Dallas level" writing. I sure hope not.

Hi, well, real life has gotten in the way big time so I couldn't watch LR but I've been keeping in touch with the discussions here. Next week should be the return to a more normal life so I'll binge watch this amazing drama.

There are scenarios where it works. I mean, in some time travel stories, a new timeline is created, replacing the old time line. Meaning that the characters from the old time line have forgotten about it while living in the new timeline. Sometimes, only the ones time traveling remember, but not everytime.

Not saying it's going to happen here, of course.

I thought the fiancée had died the way he was behaving, which explained why he was still in touch with his mother-in-law: they had both lost someone they had loved. But it's not that clear. Also he seems to have unconscious feelings for the girl in the USA, who seems to be Jia Cheng's sister.

So far, it's the only "interesting love story" here, the one about the lawyer. I don't feel that interested in the other three relationships, especially the married couple.

So far, it's a bit boring. The bromance is great, though.

Oh, I didn't realize that Nam Goo just vanished, erased, his soul destroyed! I thought he was just gone to the other side without his "consent", without his "picture" with his wife but now you're telling me that his soul got destroyed as if he had never existed???

God, that's so unfair, he didn't deserve that ending. Plus dying young, his wife cheating on him, being murdered... I hope there will be a twist in the last episode and that we will see him.

I agree, the uncle tried to give the camera back, that was his goal but he died before he could do it. The angel of death was necessary since he was there in the beginning. The ML's ancestor stole a device from the world of the dead, after all. The curse is finally explained.

The ML died but was saved so we could say that the curse was over for him and maybe for his children. But the curse was transfered to the FL when he saved her life while he was in a coma/dead/dying? Since they were linked since they were kids, it makes sense.

Now, we only need a resolution for the SML, and for the FL's best friend and it doesn't look good for her. Maybe those two are meant to be together in death? That would be sad. Unless she dies and they decide to stay as ghosts and help the ML and FL if they get to keep the camera?

It would be nice if the ML was the one to TT this time. It's the final time travel the watch allows.

Ha, have you read one of my previous posts? I've had this idea that the SJ would be the one time traveling this time because we know the future has changed. The watch is THE key to time traveling.

So the FL can walk in this new timeline. No need for the ML to call her on the phone, he won't save her from her suicidal thoughts, she won't become his fan so she won't buy his watch at an auction.

Meaning that the ML still has his watch. If he has it, then either the FL manages to get her hands on it again (through a bet, for example?), or the ML keeps his watch and he is the one to time travel to save the FL if something bad happens to her in this new timeline.

I wonder about the ghost villain... what if he is the ML's ancestor? Either the one who stole the camera, or the one the ancestor stole the camera for. Driven to insanity because of the consequences on his descendance and he wants to bring the camera back so that his great-great-great-great-great-grand-children live a normal life and most of all, don't die at 35?

Just a theory.

Didn't she say that she had gotten it at an auction for 3 millions... then she stopped talking when her mother threw her a mean glare for spending that much money on a watch and then she changed how much she had paid it to 300 000 wons?.

Also, after meeting on the bridge, the ML gave her his umbrella. Once back home, she lovingly touches it then put it aside near a box and inside, she puts the little red bag (not sure what it was) that SJ gave her in her "SJ box" next to the the watch. Then she tries the watch on and comments that it's so big on her that SJ much have thick wrists.

So I assumed that she had won it at a fan auction. And that it was why she was upset when her grandmother was wearing it since it belonged to SJ. Who doesn't seem to wear it in the beginning of episode 1.

I thought it was the ML who had put it on sale for charity or something like that and that the FL had won the auction to get his watch.

My question is, who will time travel, FL or ML? The watch allows to time travel and it belongs to the ML. But in the first timeline, the FL got it (or bought it, not sure how) because she was a fan of her favorite singer, the one who had saved her from committing suicide. Since that day, she became his number 1 fan.

But if she never had that accident and never liked him in 2008, why would she have the watch in the future? Logic says that she doesn't have it and the ML still has his watch.

Therefore, what if the ML is the one to make that final time travel that the watch allows?

The first timeline was wrong since ML was dead and FL was paralyzed. Second timelike seems just as wrong even though she is no longer in a wheelchair. So it means the final timeline will be the right one.

In that case, if they are separated in bad terms in 2008 with a broken hearted ML and the FL not liking him and not remembering what happened when Future FL time travelled, that could explain the preview for episode 7: the FL is saved, but in this timeline, the ML either has moved on (I don't believe that) or he was so hurt by the FL that he refuses to have anything to do with her.

This is obviously ANOTHER wrong timeline, just like the first one where he died and she was paralyzed.

She can time travel for a finale time and maybe this time she will correct the timeline?

I wonder if something bad will happen again in this timeline, triggering the time travel? Also, if the ML's watch allows time traveling, the FL shouldn't have it in this new timeline since in the first timeline, she had bought it because it had belonged to her idol. But there's no reason for the FL to become a fan since she wasn't paralyzed and he didn't give her hope like in the first timeline.

So if the ML still has his watch, does this mean that if something had happens, he will be the one to time travel to fix things and create ANOTHER timeline?

God, my head hurts thinking of all the twists and possibilities!

I feel like this is the second timeline: the FL is saved but whatever happened in the past, it's the ML's turn to have an accident (or something) and to forget about the FL (when in the first timeline, it was the FL who had forgotten about the ML being her neighbhor and in her high school and her savior).

Then he dies and the FL time travels for the 3rd and final time, saves him, he doesn't forget about her and they end up together.

I thought the same, that when he dies, it triggers time travel for the FL. It would be dark, though, for him to commit suicide everytime.

I avoid those kinds of dramas. I aknowledge that some, like QOT are magnificent in all areas that matter, but I want to preserve my mental health. Real Life is hard enough for me, I don't watch to watch dramas which would make me even more depressed.

I think the genres are so different that QOT and LR aren't comparable. I would compare LR more with, let's say, "Queen In Huyn's man", which is a 2012 TT drama with the ML coming back and forth the past and the present.

And yet, it's strange that the FL was in an accident (or was she?), ended up paralysed and the ML ended up dead after a strange knock on the door. Plus the suspicious taxi making its appearance... I would be very surprised if it was a suicide.

What would be awful, for the ML? a time loop. Like, he wants to save the FL but each time, he fails and to restart the time loop, he has to "die".

What's interesting is that it's HIS watch which starts it all so either it's to save him, or it's because he knows, in the future, about the FL time traveling (so that explains why the FL acted so strange, being in love with him and then forgetting about him) so he makes sure that she gets to own HIS watch, restarting the cycle, until her accident is prevented, leading to the ML not dying in the future.

Complicated. I would prefer for the FL to be the only one to TT and for her to change the past enough so that the ML doesn't die in the future.
