It looks like a good story, not too long, good OST, good acting, some flaws but like every other dramas. I'm on holidays right now but I'll take some time to watch it.
they were not married, it s not a big deal, it s 21 st century
You could have said he was in a scandal involving his ex-girlfriend. But noooo, you are taking pleasure rehashing again and again and again to whoever posts here about this story because you seem to have a personal issue with cheating. You are trying to get people to join YOUR CRUSADE against this actor.
Consult, if that's the case and stop polluting this topic about THE DRAMA "Got a crush on you".
they were not married, it s not a big deal, it s 21 st century
Yes, yes, you are the best person in the room. My god, have you been cheated on or what? This actor never met you, his ex-girlfriend the same, they don't need you going on a purity rampage to help destoy his career.
If you've been through this personally, well, I'm sorry for you but we are here to discuss dramas, not to be judge and jury about people we never met and whose story we never got fully.
they were not married, it s not a big deal, it s 21 st century
They were on a break. He was drunk when he slept with another woman. He felt bad, confessed to his ex-GF he still had feelings for and this MARVELOUS, WONDERFUL woman taped his confession to use it later on to destroy his career.
He wasn't a prince. But she was worse. I wouldn't trust a woman like that, who is willing to destroy a man's career, destroy companies which had invested in dramas he had starred in, threatening the livehood of many crew members.
And who could tape whatever you say to use against you. To quote you: "No man or woman has the right to do that to ANYBODY."
THE ENDINGIf you do not want to know about the ending. Do not read further.I felt I needed to add this for those…
This scene with the dumplings is the real problem in this ending. I mean, the ML has responsabilities, it's credible that he couldn't make it on time because of a fire or because of an important meeting with his bosses. He can't say no.
So yeah, him arriving late to the dance and the FL recreating it for him with her team, it's credible.
That scene with the dumplings though... it makes no sense to put it where it is in the drama, except if it's to confuse the fans. We have a Shroedinger ML! Some say it's a flashback. Why incorporate THIS flashback NOW, in that ending? It makes no sense.
There could have been other firefighters in that scene but the fact that the two who had died recently were there led me to belive about a Lost ending.
Personally, I choose to believe that he is alive and couldn't make it on time. Others can believe that he is dead. The main actor said that the character isn't dead. The character doesn't die in the original novel (sorry but if there's a new TV adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" and there was a suggestion that Mr Darcy had passed away, I would NOT believe it, not for one minute).
Case closed, where I'm concerned. It's just a case of a director wanting to go the complex/artistic ending for his own ego trip.
Censorship has not affected any of the other firefighting dramas, there is absolutely no reason for it to affect…
Endings in chinese dramas, talk about a headache. Could be censorthip, political involvment or the director wanting to be "artistic" and having a confusing ending so that the fans talk about his drama. Or even wanting to challenge the fans with a complex ending and see how they react. Who knows.
It would be interesting to hear the actors. Have they posted on the internet or given interviews?
I have seen the last minutes and it's deliberately confusing. Why, you ask?
Well, first, we see the ML dining with the other three guys. Then the dance spectacle. If the dinner is supposed to be all the ones who died, why is Yang Zhen Gang present, with his two legs, and then we see him watching the FL dancing?
My own two cents: it's a Lost ending. Aka, in the end, our characters are mortals, just like us, and they will die. Some a natural death, others while fighting the fires. And in the end, like in Lost, they will meet each others in the place of their own choosing, the cafeteria of their fire brigade.
My take is that at some point, Yang Zhen Gang will die BEFORE the ML. When, who knows, maybe in 10 years, 30 years? And that's why he was present at the cafeteria with the other two who died before him and they welcome the ML who had died after them. But like Lost, the heroes could have died soon after the ending of the drama, or decades later.
I love time travel dramas and I'm used to ignore "official endings" (aka, the FL was in a coma, or traveled into a book, a movie, a drama, or god knows what else), and therefore, to choose to ignore what the censorship wants me to believe.
Here, I choose to believe that the censorship wanted to show how heroics the fire fighters are, by "killing off" the ML. But the director made it so confusing that in the end, I can choose my own version.
And my version is that the ML was late to the spectacle, for X or Y reasons and the FL, with her friends, danced again, just for him, when he finally arrived.
After watching 5 times, last 15 min clip of 40th eps. So I come to conclusions. They implied ML IS DIEDBy Interpreting…
Where did you watch the 40th episode? I have only watched previews for episodes 37 and 38 and Dafang died. The FL is in the US and dancing and the ML has been working in the mountains.
This series is turning out to be a PSA for fire safety and the trials and tribulation of firefighters with a touch…
You should have seen how the actors of the french sitcom "Hélène et les garçons" were treated, around 20 years ago. Some had never even acted before. The main FL was a singer, not an actress. The main actor was brand new.
The success was phenomenal. I remember when one of the main actor had taken the train, (The TGV) from Paris to Lyon, for some occasion, the police had to be called. The news that "Cri cri" (his character's nickname) was at the train station had spread like wildfire and there were 6 000 people waiting for him.
I had never heard of such a thing before. So, it can happen. Also, I have this feeling that the fans's chinese culture is different from ours, in the Western World. Like how actors or actresses can't date. Can you picture something like this in Hollywood, or London or Paris? Especially since two big shots dating is a bonus, not a minus like in China.
This drama makes me wonder about the health system in China. I thought it was free? I mean, in my country (France), it's not perfect but we all pay a private insurance (and it doesn't cost a forture, thank god for that) and it pays for the surgery. Sometimes, there are what we call "dépassements", meaning there's some rest to pay but it's very affordable.
I had surgery 5 years ago, nothing serious and I just presented my National Health Card called "Vitale", my private insurance card and that was it. Then I had a nurse coming every day for 3 weeks and it was paid by my insurance company.
How come in this drama, it's so expensive and for a state soldier (firefighter fight for the good of the people, after all) to not have a special insurance covering him and his family???
I think li chu's father is the leader of evil group😷
Funny, I thought the same a while ago. We know the evil guy came to the future or to our world, and the FL's father was involved in that antic shop, where there was that antic stuff from the other world. How convenient.
Also, is it a coincidence if the FL got her hands on that meteorite? Maybe it's a time loop.
I don't know, the drama isn't that complex.
Still, the drama is better when it takes place in our time period. It's funnier then.
Thanks to you, I was thinking of watching this. You saved my time. Normal female lead in Cdramas is a rare case.
Funny, I watched the drama and I thought she was rather normal. After watching dramas where the FL is a thin little thing who can beat men trained to fight since birth, or FL in rom-coms who are either the best at everything or who behave like little kids afraid of the little physical contact (plus having childish voices and clothes fitting of a 13 years old), I consider Su Shy Yu as normal.
I mean, she isn't the most beautiful female character, just cute. She isn't the most succesfsul character. She is facing roadblocks in her career. She has to fight to seduce the man she has fallen in love with. She resists her mother and tells her off (when other FL characters are weak and obey).
Consult, if that's the case and stop polluting this topic about THE DRAMA "Got a crush on you".

I liked her very much.
