we've been talking about this drama on a daily basis, now it'll feel so empty 💔

i already added hidden shadow on my plan list as soon as it was put up in mdl 🤭 (guess i shall see you there) but it's a pity we won't see our complete lil gang of misfits together 🥺

overall, it's a complete roller coaster ride as you will be able to feel a lot of emotions on this one, but it's an enjoyable series.

if you are not fond of angst, then this one won't be for you because as much as it starts with a lighter tone with comedic aspects inserted on the first half of the storyline, once you reach the second half there is more angst and heavy emotional scenes ; however, it is well balanced out since there are still little comedic inserts.

I am watching LGIEF too, and I can say that this one definitely leans more to the darker side. As for now, it's been predicted that we're headed for a sad ending with one or two leads dying but no one really knows yet.

Lord Bai Yan's fault here is not telling Wen Xiao the truth in the first place, when Wen Xiao had already looked for her and shared her concern about the Baize Token. Wen Xiao ended up learning about her condition only though eavesdropping and confrontation. Thus, Lord Bai Yan explaining the truth to Wen Xiao sounded insincere in some way, as she was only pressured to say it in that moment. I felt so devastated for Wen Xiao 🥲

ikr Zhou Yichen should have met with Gong Yuanzhi then all problems would've been solved, but I guess he wasn't ready to meet his sassiness 😂🤣
