I didn't cry because he got stabbed by Zhou Yichen's sword. I cried because he did want to live, but he accepted his fate as he had no other choice. He spent so many years in loneliness and guilt had constantly tormented him, he was alive yet half dead and is just awaiting to rest upon his death bed. Then when he was seeking for his death, he ended up gaining a family. He had just started to really live life with happiness and love. His end was so painfully tragic yet meaningful, he didn't merely die in vain, he died for a greater cause. Zhao Yuanzhou is truly the greatest demon, not because he is the most powerful, but because he has the biggest heart.
