We can never really catch a break from all these angst, today's episode is yet another heavy one. It seems there is no hope in seeing the whole demon hunting team drinking wine, dancing and simply having a joyful moment together, everyone is now just constantly suffering one after another. Ngl, I think we took Bai Jiu's screaming for granted kinda miss seeing him trembling in fear and hiding behind Zhou Yichen.

Zhou Yichen finally regaining consciousness and realizing that he has been demonized is an utter complete shock for him. I couldn't imagine how much more he felt when he learned about how he strangled Wen Xiao, hurt Ying Lei and another person. That would be the last thing he would want to happen. Only our demon hunting team understood him the most. Especially Zhu Yan. They are now both able to empathize with each other even more.

The whole Tianxing Brothel scene is such a heavy scene. I felt so heart wrecked over Zhou Yichen who got constantly insulted and hit by eggs. The amount of emotions painted in Chen Du Ling, Neo Hou and Tian Jia Ru's facial expressions in this whole scene alone is so commendable.

Li Lun is a hopeless case. He thought he could manipulate Zhou Yichen into becoming like him, but failed at it and got served in the end with Zhou Yichen throwing him in the water which was so satisfying to watch. Specifically love the sassiness that came out of Zhou Yichen (reminds me of Gong Yuanzhi) and his last dialogue about how he understands Zhu Yan and will never understand Li Lun, he perfectly slapped Li Lun's face with his sharp words.

I am so excited for Demon Zhou Yichen with his black wings fighting alongside Zhu Yan like what was shown in the trailer. It's one of the scenes I am anticipating most.

Well to be fair, these 'useless mofos' weren't actually useless at all to begin with, it seems you forgot that Ying Lei went all out of his way to get the Gui Wood for him which will slow down the effects of Zhou Yichen's body condition from deteriorating while they find a way to fix his cloud sword.

On the other hand, they weren't just merely whining about how sad they are with his condition and doing nothing, they were discussing important informations that would be helpful since the whole situation turned out much worst than they expected. After all, the cloud sword is a powerful weapon and not just some ordinary sword that could be repaired by going to the swordsmith.

If anyone is useless here, it's Li Lun for breaking the five colored stone when his real enemy is Wen Zongyu. So, he is the one you should blame because in the first place none of this would have happened if it weren't for him.

Here is my translation on the recent update from FOF's Official Weibo account post. This contains spoilers as it highlights the events that will be happening on this weeks upcoming episodes. I put them in the spoiler box below!

It's not a confirmation, there was no statement saying Ying Lei will die.
According to the Chinese text on the pics it says:
"Ying Lei is determined to save Bai Jiu"
" ZYZ is willing to make sacrifices for love"

Wen Zongyu's plan actually failed because it affected Zhu Yan in a different way. Yes, he did get hurt from it at one point so we saw him crushing down on the floor because of the ever-burning wood reacting violently inside of him, but instead of it bursting out of Zhu Yan's body as it was being surpressed with his closed 5 senses, it only triggered its powers to awaken once again thus leading to Zhu Yan losing control and going on a rampage again. To the point he had to go to seclusion to prevent himself from going on a killing spree.

If you recall, there was a flashback few eps ago that showed us how Wen Xiao's master decided to give half of the baize token to Zhu Yan and the reason for this is because half of the baize token can serve as a seal to suppress the raging malicious energy inside of him and prevent him from losing control. Wen Xiao kind of did the same thing but instead of transferring half of the baize token to him, she used another method in a way that also seals his evil side or in other words that ever-burning wood. To elaborate further, from what I had understood, the ever-burning wood mixed with Zhu Yan's inner core which is the reason why Wen Zongyu has been wanting Zhu Yan's inner core since the start because what he was looking for is located in there.

Zhu Yan regained all his five senses, the Bazie Token and the sealing of his evil side kind of help him recover it or he recovered it even way before because of his powerful evil form. This is what I have observed and interpreted based on the scene when he finally regained consciousness, he was supposed to lose his sense of touch but we see him feeling Wen Xiao's hands on his cheeks and how he rested his face further to her hands indicating that he feels it.

lol it doesn't make sense at all to be mad about that scene when it was shown how she didn't purposely dropped it herself, the reason why she dropped it is because it was shaking on its own and it was clearly shown how her hands couldn't handle the shaking and like you said li lun already influenced the stone. what is so hard to understand about that scene 👀 it seems some are just simply nitpicking about every single thing she does.

she gets bashed the most on a daily basis, even if she doesn't have anything to do with a scene, her character will always be brought up like some sort of ritual... girlie can't be left to breathe even just for a day without being dragged 🥶
