Lord Ying Long - name of his possible ancestor but we have yet to know if he is just a descendant or the reincarnation

hate to break it to you but no signs of HE...but I hope you do give this one a try because even if it will be a SE, the emotional journey of the demon hunting team in the storyline makes it all worth watching!

Pei Si Jing cares about Zhou Yichen too but her way of caring for him is different. She kinda sounded mean for that but she wanted him to know about these facts than keep him from the truth as she knows Zhou Yichen has always been upright. The idea of her wanting to lock him away is also a form of protecting him, so if he really turned out to be the one that killed someone then locking him would be the reasonable option as it would stop him from going on a killing spree because she knows Zhou Yichen would loathe himself and suffer to the core if a bloodshed happens because of him. However, we also did see how they let him out immediately to find the real culprit.

Yeah, and just when he finally turns into a new leaf and experience having friends he will eventually end up dying in the end as it is speculated he will be sacrificing himself for Zhu Yan ; but on a short good note, at least he did experience being less lonely even if it was short-lived. Hence, the passing of the truth eye to ZYC. If this theory is proven true, it's gonna be crying- fest.

Rather than jealousy towards Bai Jiu, with the way I had interpreted that scene, Pei Si Heng feels regretful about his current condition.

Which is why Pei Si Jing told him: "Heng is Heng", "you can never be replaced", "with you fighting by my side, I can protect others better". So, even if Pei Si Heng is now just a puppet, Pei Si Jing will always regard him as her brother and nothing will change that fact for her. Her last line is also a way of comforting him about his condition.

Upon hearing his sisters words he did feel a bit relieved, since he can now be less of a burden and is able to protect her, however he can't help but miss the feeling of having someone take care and worry about him like how Pei Si Jing is currently with Bai Jiu. He misses his life when he was just Pei Si Jing's brother and not a puppet. Hence, the evident sadness in his face even if he said he was happy.

When he uttered the word 'but' right after saying he can now be his sisters armor indicated how he wanted to tell her his true feelings but decided to stop himself, because he knows it will make her sad once she finds out that he feels regretful. As previously, the reason why his sister managed to cope is when Pei Si Heng expressed how being a puppet allowed him to accompany his sister every night and he doesn't seem to regret it then. But the truth is, he does.

I kind of disagree. IMO they have already formed a romance between them regardless if they kissed or not, because Wen Xiao and Zhu Yan had long started to develop romantic feelings for each other through their journey and their scene in episode 23 alone spoke about how they already formed that romance, because during that time they both romantically expressed their feelings for each other through their words, "one day apart felt like three years" ; it's a profession of their love without the kiss.

Wen Xiao slowly developed romantic feelings for Zhu Yan when she found out that he was the masked man whom she had a crush on during the time when she was just her master's apprentice. Her feelings for him continued to grow stronger as she interacted with him more throughout their journey, including when she found out about his dark past, which is why she was so determined and willing to suffer 300 years inside the sundial just to save him because she already have strong feelings for him ; she already loves him. It's the same case for Zhu Yan, he started to develop romantic feelings for Wen Xiao during their conversation that night at Ran Yi's place when he first felt the chest pain as he violated their contract. The scene of him dreaming about a peaceful and carefree life as a human with Wen Xiao indicated he is already so in love with her. Thus, they are already in love with each other ; their romance had already formed, it is just that the contract hinders them from having intimate skinship, but it had nothing to do with their love for each other.

since it is gone, I guess this is a sign that we are definitely headed for the more heavier and tragically painful episodes and the sad ending which is why they are showing us the cast looking happy like that 🥲

I appreciated his emotional maturity so much during his confrontation with Li Lun. That's one of his character traits that allowed him to gradually understand Zhu Yan before. Same! I am excited for his demon form too!

Yes! the contract Wen Xiao made Zhu Yan sign is a 'blood contract' which will definitely have an effect once the statement on it has been violated. It was specifically stated that they can only be colleagues and nothing more than that, but Zhu Yan has been violating it since he had developed romantic feelings for Wen Xiao.

We can never really catch a break from all these angst, today's episode is yet another heavy one. It seems there is no hope in seeing the whole demon hunting team drinking wine, dancing and simply having a joyful moment together, everyone is now just constantly suffering one after another. Ngl, I think we took Bai Jiu's screaming for granted kinda miss seeing him trembling in fear and hiding behind Zhou Yichen.

Zhou Yichen finally regaining consciousness and realizing that he has been demonized is an utter complete shock for him. I couldn't imagine how much more he felt when he learned about how he strangled Wen Xiao, hurt Ying Lei and another person. That would be the last thing he would want to happen. Only our demon hunting team understood him the most. Especially Zhu Yan. They are now both able to empathize with each other even more.

The whole Tianxing Brothel scene is such a heavy scene. I felt so heart wrecked over Zhou Yichen who got constantly insulted and hit by eggs. The amount of emotions painted in Chen Du Ling, Neo Hou and Tian Jia Ru's facial expressions in this whole scene alone is so commendable.

Li Lun is a hopeless case. He thought he could manipulate Zhou Yichen into becoming like him, but failed at it and got served in the end with Zhou Yichen throwing him in the water which was so satisfying to watch. Specifically love the sassiness that came out of Zhou Yichen (reminds me of Gong Yuanzhi) and his last dialogue about how he understands Zhu Yan and will never understand Li Lun, he perfectly slapped Li Lun's face with his sharp words.

I am so excited for Demon Zhou Yichen with his black wings fighting alongside Zhu Yan like what was shown in the trailer. It's one of the scenes I am anticipating most.

I just recently found out about her personality when I watched FOF's cast interviews or live streams...she really does give off that quiet smart girl in class vibe 🤭
