I can't agree more with you! Zhao Yuan Zhou was definitely written for him. I was already at awe during the first episode, his character made such a strong presence despite him being comedic...and especially love the scene when he was being overly dramatic, the way Neo cried and winked at the same time got me so hooked in his acting!

I just finished watching ep 12. I loved the fight scene between ZYZ and ZYC plus the face slap to each other was so unexpected and hilarious I laughed with tears in my eyes 😆. This silly duo! I also liked the moment when ZYZ looked for an excuse just to hold on WX hand. The comedy is spot on!

On the serious note, PSJ is such a sly character. I liked her at first but am starting to get mixed feelings as it seems she is colluding with Chongwu camp. I definitely think she is a spy and is only working for the enemy as they had something to threaten her. Her conversation with ZYC clearly showed that she is hiding something from them. ZYC deserves praise for being a smart character with the way he sensed things might turn out to be a collusion and with how he dealt with the whole kidnapping thing planned by Qing Geng. He really went all in in knowing the enemy.

I think some people are forgetting that they only recently found the Baize Token and even with its return, she still haven't attained her ultimate powers as a goddess which means there is definitely more character development to happen. I actually don't mind that she is weak for now, as it piques at my interest and leads to the excitement of having to see her character turn stronger in future episodes. Although she has been weak for now, I do think that she is a clever character. I think there is a reason for her weakness, and it could be because she is a half demon which hinders her to attain her full powers as a goddess.

As for the history between Yinglong and Bingyi clan. I can't wait for it to unfold. So far, it is confirmed that ZYC is from Bingyi clan and with the hints thrown at these latest episodes, ZYZ is definitely Yinglong. We know that there is actually 2 cloud swords and these were made from Yinglong's horns. Furthermore, the 2 cloud swords also served as the main key to killing ZYZ, thus he can only die through the use of some parts of his past self which is most likely Yinglong.

I was annoyed with her character in TTEOTM but I never hated her as an actress and my annoyance is solely directed to her character there, which for me I find her as a convincing actress as she was able to perform her villain role there well. Also, I think people should learn to seperate the real actress from the characters she plays, as they are just mere roles in a drama. I don't get most of the hate solely for that reason alone.

Nah I don't see them or him trying hard to bring that aura when his acting is superb so far! Exactly this! I agree with everything you have said. Also, those 11 people don't entirely know what is going around every corner of the little cabin since they aren't given the third person POV like us watchers and the panels. Even with the Yufan and Muchen situation, Yufan was unaware. So, these casts are just human beings at the end of the day who act and react based on what they know or experience in that little cabin. Besides no human is perfect it is through these mistakes that we are able to grow and learn. Like, for Muchen's case. I disliked his actions but don't hate the person himself, as I understand he has yet to learn and improve in certain aspects. Also, we don't fully know each of these cast in real life and some of them might have been influenced by their past traumas.

I disagree. I think both FL and ML are doing a good job whether in terms of acting or visuals. I think the reason why you aren't feeling the FL acting yet is because her character is still weak and hasn't fully gained her powers, so she doesn't come off as a strong character for now.

Also, height is completely irrelevant to face visual or make-up. In my opinion, Neo fits his character as Zhao Yuanzhou perfectly. Not just because of how good-looking he is, but because of how he carries the outfit and brings life to the character itself. Also, his make-up might seem too much but I think it is fitting since he is a demon and such make-up would bring highlight to his key facial features making him come off strong. Like, his certain facial expressions which he makes or even the micro expressions in his eyes are highlighted more with the make-up. A minimal make-up for a strong character or a well-known great demon would not give justice to the supposed stance or visual presentation the written powerful character as Zhao Yuanzhou would be, any other actor playing such roles in c-dramas would look mundane in minimal make-up regardless of their height.

We finally got to know what he has hinted in episode 1. Furthermore, if you look at the cast list here in mdl, you will notice the other name of ZYZ is Lord Yinglong. So, I think he also has a connection with Yinglong, maybe he is a descendant or it is his past self.
