Now I am understanding the meaning behind the native title " 大梦归离" even more.

" 大: Big 梦: Dream 归: Return 离: Depart"

The way I am currently interpreting this title has more to do with Zhao Yuan Zhou's life. He is a truly tragic character who no longer has any will to live, the life he used to live has turned into a long lost dream that he buried deeply into his heart. His dream returns in his heart only for it to fleet away because of his fate. Like it's having that dream you once lost ignite your heart only for it to be taken away without ever having to fully be able to grasp it.

I thought the saddest and most heartbreaking moment of Zhao Yuan Zhou for me would be when we fully got to learn about his tragic past, but damn it turns out the most heartbreaking and purely tragic moment for me is when he was unconscious and seems to be dreaming, his inner self and true feelings which he had long suppressed and constantly cave away from turns out to be this dream, this desire, this yearning to live a peaceful and carefree life and nothing hurts more than knowing what is inside his heart. I don't think the word 'pain' itself is even enough to describe how much pain I felt for him as a character.

Neo's eye expressions had to make it excruciatingly even more heartbreaking for me. I cried so much that even the comedic scenes up to the end were not enough to make me smile or laugh. I really miss how the comedic scenes would make me laugh during earlier episodes, now it just gives me pure sadness.

It seems that the past stories of all the demons so far are all interconnected towards Zhao Yuan Zhou and Wen Xiao's fate.

Miss Qi & Ran Yi - the yearning for freedom
Cheng Huang & Original Baize Goddess - the yearning to live longer with a loved one
Fei & Qing Geng - the yearning for a peaceful and carefree life

All of these boils down to Zhao Yuan Zhou and Wen Xiao's love story. A foreshadowing and tale which seems that only one of them will only be able to tell the world about. Also, I don't think I will ever hear the song "Zhou Yuan's youth" the same way ever again without this scene popping into my head.

I am hoping too and that they bring back that 2 eps per day sched because 1 ep per day kills it for me I can't stand the wait 🥲

for real! now I can't even watch kdramas because am watching all these newly released cdramas that are good! 😂 I share same sentiments with you hahaha if only I could clone myself 🤣

cdrama directors really chose violence and decided to drop all these cdramas almost all at the same time... okay ofc am def gonna watch this even if am still watching 3 to 4 other dramas 😭😭😭 but am so glad it is finally here!!

I have been enjoying Fangs of Fortune and had constantly been coming into this comment section to comment myself or join in discussions or read them as I find it fun and sometimes I even gain new insights from what other viewers of this show has been sharing through this comment section. I think it is normal to have times wherein we have different opinions regarding a story or character itself. When disagreements do happen, I hope no one takes it as a personal attack as it is just merely part of a discussion. At the end of the day Fangs of Fortune is just a drama we all watch to enjoy. No need to take everything into heart and just enjoy! It's not that serious.

No one ever said she was perfect to begin with. Just because some watchers/viewers disagree or share a different opinion about the FL's character with your views about her doesn't make them into such. I don't get what is not healthy here when everyone is just sharing their different opinions about how they viewed her character. What kind of thinking is that. You should learn to accept that disagreements are also a form of discussion. It's unhealthy to see every disagreement or different opinion as an attack.

Exactly. She has her own ways to contribute to the team so I have never seen her as a useless character. She's strong-willed and clever. Right, they all balance each other out nicely. I am sure we will get more about the Baize Goddess in future episodes.

I don't think she is dumb for letting go of that so-called golden opportunity, it's not even an opportunity to begin with because whether she plays along with Li Lun's gaslighting schemes or not, at the end of the day he would still do something to ruin that Yao waters purity as he hates the Baize Goddess and token. It was him who destroyed it in the first place. Also, if you look at how he played and fooled Cheng Huang. He's merely manipulating and using them as pawns making them think they will get something out of him but nope.

You are so right! Fei's heartbreaking story is a wondeful example. Even if he had those desires or dreams, he never allowed it to develop into obsession, despite seemingly not having a choice at all because of his fate, yet at the end of it all he still showed that he did still have a choice, and that choice he made was to agree in being locked up and not be driven into obsession.

I agree with you so much! FOF's storyline truly delves deeper into these moral gray areas. Each of these characters are complex and not merely one dimensional. You have to understand beyond surface level, as there is really more depth to it than just 'humans or demons' but it's actually 'humans and demons'.
