I agree with you! also same, she's also the only villain i've respected, she ate that role in TTEOTM. Which is why I am looking forward to her characters future development here, she seems to have a dark side and am excited for that. I think we will get the angst part midway but I am glad it started out light-hearted to prepare us for the tragic, heartwrenching parts. So am enjoying the comedic scenes for now.

This! It honestly doesn't make sense how some dislike her being the fl here just because they were annoyed with the characters she had played in her previous dramas before. Like seriously, the actress is seperate from her roles. Also, the storyline for this drama and her character arc is obviously different. I say she is definitely doing a good job playing Wen Xiao and loving her evident chemistry with Neo. I did find some of her character in previous dramas which I have watched of hers as annoying but that just proves how impactful of an actress she is for playing such roles well.

Yes! that is correct. Which is why the leader (mask man) of Chongwu camp was annoyed when the one with fire arrow reported to him about what happened. I think they only know Zhu Yan by name and some gathered information about him but they do not know his actual appearance based on what you had said too. So, Chongwu camp knows Zhuyan is with the demon bureau but doesn't know what he looks like. It is also possible that the only one who knows how he looks like is the mask man of Chongwu camp.

Chongwu camp knows that the great demon is Zhu Yan (Zhao Yuan) and they went there to kill him instantly but they were stopped because someone who works from King Xiang whom both demon hunters follow orders from came along and intervened with the contract signing thing thus, the Chongwu camp failed to initiate their plan as they also work under the orders of King Xiang. Yes, the leader (mask man) of Chongwu camp only target is Zhu Yan and they know Zhuyan is in the demon hunting team.

I think i'm in the minority as am actually loving the slowmo effect on the fight scenes and that upbeat bgm that comes along which i find so iconic and adds hype to those scenes. Our main characters in slow motion is definitely an eye candy. The demons are so hard to hate, i'm sorry but why are they all so good looking they don't look scary to me. Like, there are scenes that has horror vibe in it but whenever the main villain is revealed they turn out to be food for the eyes 🤭. Also, I like the new addition to their team, Bai Jiu finally found his long lost other half. The unique dynamic of the whole demon haunting team is interesting. I just know that Zhu Yan's character arc will wreck my heart once we know more about his past and not to forget I am very excited to see Wenxiao's dark version (it seems from trailer and pics that she is half demon). Neo is eating his role and so happy for Chen Duling because girl is killing it. Used to watch her in past dramas as support role but now she is one of the leads and I just know once her character reaches the dark arc, she would slay that role just like her role in TTEOM.

So happy for Oscar and Leyan. I knew they'd be the first to press that button. They both match each other so well! Oscar has always been so determined since day one towards his feelings for Leyan which makes him so attractive. The fact he even composed a song for her and prepared all of it, even a bracelet that has their names and a special phrase which is like a promise to the both of them. Such a beautiful and romantic scene. They deserve each other well. I'm still not over when they played piano together and their sweet scenes!

Yeah. She is wrong by letting her emotions take control of her in the heat of the moment. She was being too impulsive. She's a very straight forward person like what the panels had commented she is 'result-oriented' and due to her way of always wanting to solve things/problems directly she gets inconsiderate towards others feelings. However, like what panels said, this is a lesson for her which she can learn from. Humans aren't perfect human beings we make mistakes in order to learn a lesson from it and grow. Yet, some fans are very toxic and blowing that specific scene out of proportions and being disrespectful like what Leyan had did to Qingya is a big crime. I do not agree with toxic fans like that, who badmouth a cast member they dislike or simply because there is a conflict that happened between their fave cast. This dating show is just for entertainment purposes only. We are only given a mere third person point of view. So, as watchers we don't have full grasp of who they truly are as a person or how their relationship was in that little cabin. Even the cast themselves have some things which they do not know. I said she didn't need to apologize now because clearly toxic fans will continue to drag her down. Also, she is aware she came off too strong and probably when she watched this episode she regrets her impulsive action. We don't even know, she might have already approached Qingya and apologized to her. Ever since the start both these girls had been in a good relationship yet toxic fans are making it seem like they have a secret animosity towards each other.

Yeah, obviously the director intended to do that to make the confession scene impactful. Dating shows are always edited in a way that leans to drama as that equates to entertainment. If you noticed the title of the episode even highlights that specific scene lol. But, that scene blew things out of proportion making Leyan a 'villain' when in reality we watchers don't even know them in real life. You can dislike her action but there is no need to treat her like she doesn't deserve forgiveness and she is nothing but her mistake. I just hope they make Leyan and Qingya as guest to react on that scene and see that these two girls had been good friends all along.
