I have managed to watch 3 episodes in and I am completely hooked. The scenes are so cinematic and costumes are beautiful. I am loving the mixture of comedy on this one, makes it even more enjoyable. I didn't expect ML to have a silly/comedic side, as I saw him as someone stern, cold and deeply mysterious but loving that he isn't fully made into such. Minghao is definitely eating his role and I am very much looking forward to Chen Duling & ChengXiao too❤️

I honestly have low expectations for this drama. Like, I have gotten to a point in almost dropping it during earlier episodes when some scenes got too violent for me to watch (especially ep 6). Fortunately, glad I decided to hang on and watch further episodes, because the storyline managed to surprise me in some way, and have officially come to love this...Kang Bitna is killing the show for me and I am definitely seated for her tiki taka with Han Daon. Literally loving how their romance is unfolding. On side note, I think a season 2 for this drama would be great.

i'm only on episode 7 but starting to find it hard to continue to watch further episodes, i don't usually mind the slow pace or slowburn as i'm a sucker for such and the childhood friend to lovers trope, but i can't feel the chemistry between the leads that much.

This drama is definitely not light-hearted which I totally do not mind, so far I am enjoying this because as much as there are scenes that frustrates me, I really like the balance with heartwarming scenes portrayed either by the main trio scenes or simply by the words of Juwon's dad.

Both Sanha and Haejun's mother are no better than the other, regardless of whatever reason they had. Neglecting their child for 10 whole years and suddenly showing up again. One obviously resented and constantly blamed her son, while the other treats their son like he doesn't exist and is of no importance to try and keep contact with again. Definitely the worst type of mothers portrayed in a k-drama. Haejun's dad and aunt are no exception either.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the romantic development between Juwon and Sanha.

Oscar and Leyan's dynamic is so hilarious they really be the gossip couple. Also, they are so freaking sweet and affectionate towards each other already. I am loving how they are always stuck together! I can't wait for next weeks episode!

me too! she's absolutely the sweetest girl but was constantly led on by Muchen who doesn't even have a sense of boundary. She definitely deserves better than being with a guy like him, so I am kinda glad to see her maturity with how she handled the whole situation without dwelling longer on it. Like she doesn't deserve her time and feelings being wasted by the likes of Muchen.

yeah i did try watching it but initially dropped it, i kinda didn't get hooked with the storyline that much 😅...but i did like her role in pinocchio and memories of alhambra

I agree with you. Her character like Kang Bitna definitely hits different. I did liked some of her previous characters, but I must say her role as Kang Bitna is the best character she had ever played compared to all her previous dramas, she definitely suits these type of genres and roles more, and her acting skills shine more here.

I am only on ep 8 trying to catch up with the latest episode. Right! the plot just gets better at every episode! oh and nice to seee you here too hehe 🤗 I think we are almost watching the same dramas these days hahaha
